It was ok. Had to go asking for toilet roll. There 3 nights and asked for our room to be serviced on the 2nd night and our request was ignored.Rooms basic. They couldn’t get us a remote for the TV and were going to get us to move rooms. We told them not to bother. Not sure I would stay here again. Food was very good.

The lights in the room are quite bright, no lamps for when you're relaxing for bed. The rooms seem a little dated and it makes the place seem a bit unattractive.

Room did not meet the standards of the rest of the hotel. Fixtures and fittings very dated, stains on sofa bed (twice reported but never cleaned)! No fridge, no phone to call reception. After one full week we stayed 4 nights at a Travelodge and it was scrupulously clean and modern, great value restaurant and friendly staff, all for about half the price. We would not recommend Hogs Back Hotel to friends.
