convenient location and walkable to many restaurants and shops. that’s about it for pros.
for such a historic hotel, and area, the inside was very modern and left me cold. no charm whatsoever
bar was the only historic area and bartenders were very cordial and attentive
the rest of the staff service was very spotty. room was disappointing for the money. no water bottles, sheet was ripped, bathroom sink was tiny with no shelf, drawer, or other place to put your essentials, no kleenix. had the three shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel pumps on wall but conditioner empty. strange room configuration. parking in garage behind hotel is convenient in/out but expensive. no one serviced our room for the 3 nights there. so no emptying of baskets, towels etc. i had to call front desk to get fresh towels. all said, i would pick elsewhere.
