I liked this place. It was quiet, clean. Parking is in the street, we were able to park our car and did not move it for three days until we left for our tour of tuscany. We took taxis to the city center about $10 in the morning and $15 at night. Its only one floor but there are steps to reach the front door. I would stay here again.

DON’T STAY AT THIS PROPERTY ON WINTER!! The heater of this property has been controlled by the owner. The room is super cool and the owner off the additional heater. The car parking is not a designated for the property is a public car park.

Friendly host

Our stay was fine. The accommodation is adequate although it is really just a room with a basic breakfast provided, it isn't a hotel. The location is ok, not the nicest area and a good 25 minute walk to the main tourist areas. There is on street parking if available! The hosts Marco and Paulo, were very nice and Marco gave us lots of advice about were to visit etc.

Great location

Our host Marco was very generous with his time in suggesting sites to see. The suite was very spacious and had the most comfortable bed of our 2-week vacation.

Comfort in Florence

The owner Marco was extremely helpful. We missed arranging for a specific check-in time but Marco was very gracious and made special arrangements. He stored our luggage until the room was ready and gave us a lot of suggestions for things to see around Florence. He also stored our luggage the day we checked out so could spend the day sightseeing. Overall I highly recommend this as the place to stay in Florence.

Rude and scammer

The owner did not let us in, because we arrived later than he liked, apparently we had to be there before 5pm even though there was nothing stated otherwise. He then proceeded to yell on the phone and waste our time. He later sent a nice harassing email claiming we vandalized his property. All we did was ring the doorbell and knock on the door.... like any reasonable person would do. On a side note, there is a nice restaurant and bar called Girasol. Visit them for sure.

Homey hotel. Bth Marc Home away from home

Marco and Paolo made my stay so wonderful. Marco spent a lot of time with me giving me recommendations for sights and restaurants all if which were wonderful. Paolo's English not as good but he was warm and helpful and made wonderful coffee. It was a bit of a walk to the center but the safety and quietness of the neighborhood made up for that. Very clean and breakfast was fine.

The owners were fantastic.They were very helpful during our visit -- from telling us how to get around, where to eat, and what to visit. The room was much larger than expected and an amazing place to stay. I would definitely book this place again!

Overnight Stay in Florence

An overnight stay before travelling on to Rome, Marco was extremely helpful and told us the best way to get to the city centre and recommended a great restaurant, The only downside is the location is a little out of the way, but once we knew the best way it was about a 15 minute walk

Florence apartment

This place at first felt like way outside of town but after the owner showed us a shortcut through the station it was actually less than 10 min walk. We actually walked passed it first time but as we looked a bit confused some lady helped us and told us where it was. The entrance is through the fenced green gate. The room was specious and nicely decorated. The owner was very helpful and advised us what should we see and where should we eat. In the morning we had a breakfast made by owners cousin and it was a good Italian breakfast. We do recommend this place.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

One of the worse experiences of my life. We arrived in Florence at 7 pm and needed to find a hotel for the night. we paid for the booking and went to the hotel. No one answered the door. After phoning the owner he said we must wait for 1 hour outside before we can enter as he had gone home. He was very rude, unhelpful and when we couldn't stay outside to wait for him he hung up the phone. we had to spend the night sleeping in a 24 hour mcdonalds. Please beware. Do not book with this hotel!!!

A wonderful place to stay...

We had a wonderful stay. The place is clean, tidy and nicely decorated. Marco, the host, is kind, friendly, helpful and accommodating so as his cousin Paolo, who prepared our breakfast every morrning. Our room was spacious with a small balcony and comfortable bed. It's 5-10 min walk from the train station, depending on the pace. Overall, I would recommend this place!

Amazing Apartment!

Both Carmen & her husband welcomed us to an exquisite apartment. It was so perfect for the 4 of us, Kitchenette area to cook breakfast, all essentials and more! 10 minutes to Termini train. Amazing! Grab it if your looking for a spot in Rome!
