Terrible Experience – Do Not Recommend This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The pictures online are completely misleading—the reality is nothing like what’s advertised. The hotel was extremely noisy, and we were unable to sleep the entire night. On top of that, the staff was rude and completely unhelpful when we raised our concerns. We decided we didn’t want to stay, but the hotel refused to refund our money. Every negative review you’re reading is absolutely accurate—we wish we had taken them more seriously before booking. I strongly do not recommend this hotel. Save yourself the stress and disappointment.

Great location, at an arm’s lenght of the hustle and bustle of Florence. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lovely room, very quiet. The shower was quite small though. The breakfast was excellent.

Our stay at Horto Convento was excellent. The staff was very attentive and courteous and the breakfast was great. The location is perfect, nestled among the locals away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist populated areas across the Arno River. If you're looking for peaceful location that feels like a home away from home, this is it!

Great position, just 20 minutes walk from the historic centre. Quiet setting, attractive grounds, friendly staff, good breakfast. Only downside are the small basic bedrooms, that only offer suspended bars to hang clothes.
