We’ve stayed at Hotel La Scaletta Al Ponte Vecchio during late February. We were expecting a double standard room with garden for which the photos displayed beautiful interiors and furniture. However, we were utterly disappointed with the room which is complete opposite of the website images. The room lighting was dimmed, bed was in awkward centre position and there were no garden views outside the window. I would not advise this stay if one is anticipating their bookings to be presented exactly what’s shown on the page.

Above and beyond

It’s the best location for eating, drinking, shopping and seeing the history of it all. It’s a boutique style hotel with an awesome rooftop bar and restaurant and view. We had a 24 hour delay back to the US due to weather and the hotel staff accommodated our every need from transportation to other things to do while we spent an extra day there, to include assistance with opening a few bottles of wine for us. Emmanuel was even on the phone with airlines trying to assist us in rebooking our alternative flights back to the US. Can’t wait to stay there again during our next visit and will recommend them to all our friends. Ciao’.

Miami to Florence and disappointed.

Traveling for 30 days in Europe, the reviews for this hotel are mixed. The hotel is old and in desprit need of a remodel. The check in was ok, the staff is ok. The wifi is not good, the room is tiny , maybe 100 SQ ft. The breakfast is ok but better choices outside. I would not recommend this hotel.
