The Bedford Hotel’s professional, attentive staff members were kind and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable.The full English breakfast served buffet style was a great way to start each day. The location offers good connections to the Underground and buses.

Add the little things.

We have stayed at this hotel before and generally like it. The room was attractive, the furnishings in excellent condition. However, there were a couple of areas where we thought improvements could be made. There was only one chair in the room, another would have been appreciated. On this occasion we were in a twin room but there was only one bedside cabinet between the two beds. A quarter of this was taken up by the telephone. There was ample room for another one. The bathroom and the toilet was split on different sides of the entrance. This in itself was not a problem but we did think there should be a handbasin in the toilet area. There is room. The bathroom was cramped and we thought a shower rather than a bath would have been more appropriate. There was only one small towel rail but four towels. There was enough space for another rail [heated perhaps?]. Small things but do add up. The staff were very friendly and helpful particularly the dining room staff. Very nice restaurant.

The room was a good size but it got hot even in January. We ended up cracking the window, which let in the street noise but it wasn’t too bad. The hotel restaurant/bar was great. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was a bit of a walk from the underground but there were bus routes nearby. Walkable to the British museum. Overall a good place to stay.

My experience with the stay in Bedford Hotel was exceptional in every possible way. Clean with the kind and helpful staff and short walking distance to several subway lines. The British Museum is virtually around the corner. I absolutely loved my stay at Bedford!

Wonderful stay!

Amazing stay at the Bedford. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We got upgraded on arrival and offered late check out as we’re celebrating a special occasion, and also found goodies in the bedroom. Very nice touch! Room was large and comfortable, bathroom clean and modern. Breakfast was delicious and the location of the hotel was perfect! So close to everything but nice and quiet.

rooms feel a bit tired and on arrival very very hot, took a day to manage to turn th radiator off which made it cooler but still on the warm side, maybe it was. Cause we were on the 6th floor. The staff were lovely and although unable to offer an upgrade for my daughter’s 21st birthday, they did provide a cake, lovely hand written card and some wine which was really appreciated. The food at breakfast was good, noticeably less on the Monday than the weekend.. overall, I would stay there again as the bus links were fabulous and area felt safe.

Lovely staff especially Siobarn on reception. Ideally located for theatre area and within easy walking distance of Underground and attractions such as Covent Garden. Lovely secret garden which would be great on a summer stay

Rooms were not very clean and the hallway reeked of an over-powerful air freshener, making it hard to breathe as we came/went from our rooms. Staff wasn’t overly friendly or helpful. I chose this place because of the hotel’s “green” policies but saw no more in action at this hotel than any other (just the decor—but how does that help save our environment?). Heat was unable to be adjusted in the room causing us to have to open the windows. No water saving practices in place. I wouldn’t stay again.

The Staff at the Bedford Hotel were incredible. After my phone was stolen while out one day, the staff stepped up to make sure that I had everything I needed. Printed directions, looking up phone numbers I needed, etc. The location is great, and I would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel which seemed to have been recently refurbished. Very nice room, warm, and quiet as overlooking the garden. Pleasant reception staff. Really enjoyed the Christmas early evening hot chocolate! Excellent location.
