This was our favorite hotel in the 3 city visit. Super convenient to the train, in a lovely but not overcrowded square. Super attentive staff and front desk. Old European style. Walkable to most everything. Florence was sunny and exquisite.

Excellent stay in Florence!

Beautiful hotel in Florence. A great location and the hotel had charm and elegance. The service was excellent and loved hearing the hustle and bustle of the square below. The most relaxing time of our trip!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, near by train station, lots of restaurants, near St. Maria church. Shopping street. Love it. Just at second there are quite noise from the first floor bar.

It's great to be remembered

Greeted by an incredible, professional and friendly team, who remembered us from the last time we stayed at Hotel Santa Maria Novella (coming in from a long train ride, this moment brightened our day). Our room has a beautiful view of Santa Maria Novella and the square, full of great restaurant options, shops and sites (all in walking distance). The room itself is spacious, impeccable decor, comfortable and filled with all of the amenities. I might have a hard time leaving, this is such a great hotel filled with such wonderful people

Perfection!!

Hotel Santa Maria Novella is a charming boutique hotel. If you’re looking for beautiful details in every room, you’re in the right place. The hotel is gorgeous and the details are stunning. There’s a good view of the piazza, overlooking the chapel. Perfect location to walk anywhere you need to go in Florence. The service was amazing, and even reserved a nice restaurant for us. The complimentary breakfast is like no other. Overall amazing stay, highly recommend.

This is a great hotel and I highly recommend staying there. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Very close to the main train depot, within walking distance to the Accademia Gallery, many great restaurants nearby. The charm and decor of this place is remarkable. Breakfast was also very good.

Fine boutique hotel in Florence.

This is surely among the finest boutique hotels in Florence... wonderful location, immaculate building rich in white marble and fine woods, and most important warm, sincere, professional hospitality by the entire staff. The price was surprisingly modest all considered (we visited in mid-winter). Hint... if you have trouble sleeping, chose a room off the SM Novella square.

You get amazing breakfast, kind and tentative housekeeping, and kind service from all staff. Water is included in your stay as well as a bottle of wine. The location is great. Lovely location, traditional hotel

Great location on Piazza Santa Maria Novella (and close to train station). Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast. My large room had a view into piazza/church, which was lovely, but there was lots of loud noise and music from bars below which I didn’t enjoy. Marble-tiled bathroom was spacious, but shower over bath with flimsy shower curtain wasn’t pleasant.
