The room was clean and the shower was hot with great water pressure. The morning shuttles to the various cruise ship docks were very organized and efficient. The woman running it did an excellent job of getting everyone on the correct shuttle to their various ports.
The outside of the motel buildings seemed worn and dirty. There was a lot of construction materials lying around. The elevators smelled dank and a little like urine.
There are no convenience stores or restaurants within walking distance, so you need to keep that in mind if you don’t have a car. We used uber for a trip to the drugstore and to order some food, but in both cases, had a very difficult time communicating because they spoke very little English.
There is a little “store” run by two guys out of one of the motel rooms where you could get some soda, bottled water and a few snacks.
I didn’t use the outdoor pool, so I can’t comment on that except to say that it is well landscaped and looked kind of pretty and tropical, especially at night.
For a reasonable price, it’s fine for a place to sleep and shower for a night before you head to your final destination, but I wouldn’t vacation there or anything.
