It was a beautiful hotel, but our experience wasn't very good. The pool was so bad that our eyes burned and we didn't even go swimming. But our kids eyes where so incredibly red... On our second day there the pool was crowded with a lot of rowdy boys (we have 2 small girls age 8 and 9). They kept falling on our kids no matter where they moved. Then one of them started bleeding in the pool and that was the final straw and we made our kids get out. Our room was also directly above the pool so all we heard all evening was the rowdy kids, and our room smelt so much like pool it made us all sick. Very disappointed in this, it is not the hotels fault, but it definitely ruined our experience at the hotel. Will try again next time.

The only problem was upon arrival we asked if our room was ready. (It was 1:30) The receptionist was just on the phone speaking to someone saying yes your room is ready looking forward to seeing you. As soon as she hung up I asked about our room she extremely curtly said no after looking at the computer. At that time I asked if she had an idea when it may be she curtly replied Check-in is st 4:00.Which I understand but many times rooms are prepared earlier. I said okay is there a system for them to message us when the room is ready she again rudely said no. We went next door and had an appetizer after an hour I called same voice again said no. After another hour I called a different voice politely said oh yes it is when do we expect to arrive. I said we were right next door waiting for 2 hours for the room to be prepared. At that time she seemed confused and asked if we were waiting to a specific room I said no. She said oh. This makes me feel that rooms were available earlier and for some reason the 1st desk person was either upset by me asking her too many questions initially or just not doing a very good job. Other than that experience everything else was exceptional.

Amazing hotel

The staff is friendly and accommodating to our needs. The pool is refreshing and enjoyable. The common areas are always extremely clean and accessible. The breakfast is amazing! They have plenty of options and they are fresh with an option to have things made to order. The only thing I am not a fan of is in the winter they crank the heat and the individual rooms do not have the option to set it to a comfortable setting. We asked for fans and that still didn’t help. We saw plenty of rooms open their door to circulate air which wasn’t an option for us. We just choose not to stay in the winter anymore. Which is sad because it’s one of the best hotels in the area.

I stayed in room 515. I stay at the Embassy anytime I’m in town.The staff is always friendly and lobby always clean and peaceful. However, I stayed there last month in the same exact room and the fridge didn’t work. Maintenance came replaced it within 20/30 minutes, the food we had sat out while this was going on and while it had to get cool we ended up throwing it away. Then I come back this month and stay in room 515 again went into the bathroom hair was all over the toilet and the toilet didn’t flush. I found housekeeping and the came and cleaned it instantly. Then I went down to the front desk and the sent maintenance up instantly. It was a busy night I understand however, I was disappointed when I saw all the hair all over the toilet makes me think what else wasn’t cleaned as it was very visible from the door of the bathroom. I took a video and showed it to the front desk. However, this will NOT stop me from booking a room next time I’m in town but I think the rooms need to be checked throughly. And by the way the toilet in room 515 even though maintenance came and fixed the issue you still have to hold the handle down for the toilet to actually flush.
