The rental was nice and clean.While communication was good before we arrived, it all stopped there. The directions from VRBO went down the street about a half mile, and we had trouble finding the alley entrance. The contact owner phone number went to previous owner that graciously gave the number for "new owner" Michael. He never returned voicemail. We also left a message via VRBO, no reply. The lockbox code did not work for keys/side entry. We were able to come/go via front door automatic door lock; a little inconvenient. Stayed, checked out, back home, no communication.

We stayed on the bottom floor of this unit. There is a top unit that the floor creaks very loud when people walk on it. The guests above us were up late so it kept us up late which was not good because we worked the next morning. The place was well stocked roomy and clean.

Arrived in the evening and there had been no housekeeping. All of the beds were stripped and linens on the floor and in front of the washer and drier. A note was on the table from the previous guest saying that they also had no housekeeping on their arrival, and had to wash their linens themselves and they also had no hot water during their stay. When trying to reach the property owner it went to a voicemail that is full and can’t receive messages. After a long drive I had to find another place to stay last minute.

The condo was great but we were unaware that there would be people staying above us. Luckily it was only part of the time because the children running and jumping upstairs sounded like a herd of buffalo. Additionally, the owner should invest in pillows more than 1 inch thick.

The positives: This condo is in a great location, walking distance to great restaurants and parks. The interior is nicely renovated and the bathrooms have higher end showers. The kitchen is beautiful. The not-so-positives: This is the bottom unit of the house and had a strong musty smell. The furnishings are minimal. The bed in the primary bedroom is horribly uncomfortable. It is a metal frame with a mattress that is designed to fold for storage so the metal could be felt when laying down.
