Enjoy this sunny beachfront condo right on the beach! Islander East is ON THE BEACH, not across the seawall blvd. You'll have a 2 bedroom condo on the fourth floor with beautiful views of the ocean from both balconies. Wake up in the primary bedroom and look right out the wall of windows with a sliding door to your balcony. Enjoy the new king size bed and light and bright room with optional black out shades. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin bed on top, a full bed on the bottom, and another twin trundle bed that can be pulled out. The kitchen opens up into the main living space that also has a wall of windows with a sliding door to the other balcony overlooking the Gulf. Beautifully decorated in peaceful beach colors, white, teal and oatmeal. Enjoy a television in each room with a DVR player in the living room. Fluffy towels in the updated bathroom. The kitchen has white countertops and a breakfast bar with barstools, and includes all dishes, pans, glasses, cooking utensils, and a coffee pot, dishwasher, stove/oven and a refrigerator. Outside is a boardwalk over the beach grasses and you're standing right on the beach with your toes in the water! Tennis/pickleball/basketball courts are out front and there is a year-around heated pool. Condo comes with 4 folding beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, an umbrella, sand toys and beach towels for your fun in the sun vacation! Sleeps up to 6 people comfortably. Sorry no smoking or pets. Come enjoy your sunny beachfront condo!

Great location

Overall the condo was very well stocked with all that one would need. It is small but they have used every square inch of space for storage, countertops, and beach accessories. The weather did not cooperate well during our visit but all the beach stuff was there. The common areas were nice and the complex had tennis, pickleball, bocce ball, and basketball courts. Very close location to downtown and the restaurants and bars. The only real negative was that the beds were extremely SOFT. If you like a firmer mattress then these beds will be too soft for you. The complex is older but pretty well maintained and the front desk people are very nice. Overall very nice for a few days but couldn’t sleep well due to the mattresses.

Spring break fun

This place was perfect. Took my daughter and a couple of her friends. It was such a perfect spot. The unit was cute, clean and had all that we needed. The condo facility had so much to offer and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Will definitely return!! Thank you for a great getaway.

Enjoyed our stay - condo was clean, had everything we needed. Our host was helpful and responsive to all our questions. We love staying on the east end of the island with its quieter beaches. Good place to relax - or bring family to enjoy sun, sand, and water!

Clean! It is even better than the pictures. Windows are spotless. Right on the beach with a private boardwalk. Thoughtful details like hooks on the walls throughout and tv reception worked very well. Keurig and a coffeemaker (including filters and sugar). Host responds immediately. Primary bed is more soft while the bunk beds are firmer (FYI).check-in is a breeze as someone is there 24/7. Will definitely rent here again if I come back to Galveston.

Lovely Property with Fantastic Location

Mary's unit is comfortable and nicely appointed. Beautiful beach view from balconies. Property staff are fantastic. Laundry room downstairs is excellent. East Beach is the place to be in Galveston.

Location was wonderful

We were staying in Galveston while our SIL was in UTMB and the location of this property to the hospital was excellent. This building is on the East end of the island which is quiet and exactly what we needed in this situation. We would get up every morning and do 2-3 miles on the beautiful beach and enjoyed coffee and wine on the balconies a couple of days. The property managers were very nice - all of them. Check in was easy and the property is gated. While this is not a new property, it is well maintained with all of the needed essentials, plus some! The kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom well appointed. It was just what we needed for this visit.

Good value for the money -- loved the two gulf-view balconies

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay of several weeks in Galveston. We loved being on the east end of the island where it's more quiet, and there's direct access to the beach (i.e., no road between the property and the beach). We loved having two balconies--one off the living room, and one off the primary bedroom. We really loved waking up to and watching the gulf because each day brought out a different "personality" from the water. Laundry in the building was convenient. The water pressure from the shower was great. We look forward to returning the east end of Galveston soon!

Thank you so much for this vacation for our family and letting us stay in your beautiful condo! It was awesome and the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of paper towels and toilet paper which is greatly appreciated when you have a family. There was also coffee left for us so we left two bags of unopened Starbucks coffee for the next person that stays there. Thanks again!

Great view and secluded beach!

We were often the only people on the beach and usually the only ones in the pool. Very quiet condo. Plenty of supplies and towels provided. Owner was extremely easy to work with and we enjoyed the complex amenities.

The review I needed before my stay…

If you are like me, you are trying to find reviews that don’t require you to read between the lines. So here is the review I needed before staying at this property. I have big kids. Will they all fit? Yes, and they were happy. We don’t like crowds. Will we have our own spot on the beach? Yes. It felt like it was our own private beach. Will there be room in the pool? Yes. We had it to ourselves most days. Did we feel safe? Yes. It is a gated community. Will the WiFi work well enough for everyone? Never had a problem even with three tvs and everyone’s phones. Are the beds comfortable? No bed is going to compare to your own. However, we all lounged on our beds longer than we do when we’re at home, so I’d say they are comfortable. We used all the appliances and they worked great. The water pressure was perfect. We never ran out of hot water. There were plenty of towels and linens provided. The couch and chair in the main room were my daughter’s favorite spot. My favorite thing was the aqua chairs on the back patio off the master bedroom. I sat out there for hours. I miss it already. The residents were nice and the front desk staff were friendly. Don’t worry, mamas. Take this vacation. You’ll enjoy it.

Galveston’s Gorgeous Beach Getaway

This lovely condo was exactly as described in listing (beautifully decorated), but nothing prepares you for the amazing views of the beach or the soothing sound of the waves from both of the balconies! The sunrises over the gulf are breath taking and watching pelicans swoop by as you are enjoying your morning coffee is quite special. The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen, though compact, are fully equipped, and it notable that every thing you could want for a beach holiday is provided by Mary, our thoughtful host. There are beach towels, beach chairs (including kiddie ones), even a floaty for fun in the waves. Also, there is plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, dish detergent etc. which was much appreciated. The location could not be better if you want to feel as if miles of sandy beach are your peaceful private paradise, yet you are only minutes away from everything Galveston has offer! The condo building is well maintained, the pool is sparkling clean and warm enough for relaxing after sightseeing, and the 24-hour front door staff are friendly and ready to help in any way you need. All in all, we loved it and are already planning another trip. Joanne and Toni
