Dirty and Not up to 2025 conditions

Went as our last night in Panama after 17 days of touring the whole country! Was suppose to be the Grand Finale; total disappointment. We checked our luggage early, was suppose to get an email when are room was ready early since it was 9:30am, normal check in is at 3:00, the representative said he was contacting housekeeping to get the room ready early. (Don't believe that happened.) Because we checked ourselves back in at 2:50pm. Next we made it to our Grand Suite which was very bland and informal. For the price it was sickening. Especially as we had just came from Hotel La Compania, the couch had a big tear in it and when we went to bed at 9:00pm the comforter had a stain on it. Around 8:30pm, housekeeping was knocking on our door for some reason, who did not speak any english so my husband had no idea why they were knocking. The whole thing was horrible. Except the Executive Lounge where we hung out most of the day before the room was ready and the beautiful pools. Save yourself $560.00 and book at Hotel La Compania or find something else it is bound to be nicer than the JW Marriot Panama City

Unique building and location good making easy Uber to wherever we needed. Front desk staff & customer relations ready to help whenever asked. Pool area lovely. View from pool and most areas of the hotel breathtaking. Room was nicely cleaned each day. Masi Restaurant service rather slow, if it wasn’t for our server Jayck it would have been a lot worse. Our stay was overall good.

I would not recommend this hotel from the smell, the view of the room, small pool area and always over crowded. My experience was far from amazing . For starters the suite that I booked was not ready. I arrived to the JW at 1 PM. I didn’t get a temporary room till 530pm , the suite that I paid for still wasn’t “ ready “ and being cleaned . I was told that I would be notified via email or call when my original room was ready . Arriving back to the hotel 1230am I still haven’t received a call or text from anyone about the room being available. Ingrid whom was at the front desk at time was so dismissive and didn’t care she stated that my room still wasn’t ready after I’ve waited already 25minutes. received a key at 1:15am. Checked out couple hours after didn’t stay more than 24hrs but was still charged for a night. I felt I was given any suite and not the one I paid a hefty amount for ! I was disappointed as you arrive off the elevator The smell in the hallway the carpet smells horrible. The rooms are very outdated. There is no privacy between the restroom and bedroom so you can hear toilet being flushed, hands being washed etc .The view was horrible ! apartments mostly blue buildings of tenants that had all different type of items hanging.I was told by Erika Perez the front office manager that for my compensation she would give me 10,000 rewards to my Marriott Bonvoy account since I am a member. I never received anything. Would never go back gives marriott a bad name .

Great customer service , well maintained n impeccable- staff in the lounge were so courteous especially Diana and Jesus, beyond expectations. The facilities were great and services available too. Our room service staff Elvia Cosumano ( if I’m spelling it correct) was above and beyond what we’ve experienced in many of our travels including our many stays at different Marriott locations- her attention to detail and fast and efficient service was greatly appreciated.we really enjoyed everything, thank you
