Very nice place in lovely town. Excellent service and staff. Easy walk to town center.

The property is in a rural like setting yet is only minutes away from Partenkirchen. There is a beautiful lake to sit outside and enjoy as well as a walking path around the lake. The breakfast and dinner buffets were huge and had so many choices to eat. The food was very good. There are several lounge areas both inside and outside to sit around and relax. Parking onsite. I would stay here again!

Beautiful older hotel- very well kept. Great view of the mountains from our balcony. Sat there relaxing enjoying a beer! Staff and breakfast were wonderful. Close walk to train station and Zugspitze Bahn. Has a pool sauna and steam room but we just stayed 2 nights so no time to use them but they looked excellent. We plan to come back next year and stay longer. We highly recommend Wittelsbacher Hof

The hotel was beautiful and we were pleased from the moment we walked in. The staff was so friendly and helpful and we were upgraded to a room with the most beautiful view from the balcony. Breakfast was delicious as well as all the coffee options. A delightful stay that made the Garmisch-Partenkirchen lag of our trip even more wonderful! Thank you!!

Loved afternoon “Kaffee und kuchen” happy hour. Very helpful front desk, especially on recommendations for food and attractions. (Sold tickets for Zugspitze at front desk.) A great stay. A little pricey, but great location. Two minute walk to downtown.
