The room was a mess. The floor had not been vacuumed. Debris was all over the floor. I turned on the faucet in the bathroom and it wasn’t secured to the sink. The only good thing was the sheets were clean. I was scheduled for three days, but I packed and left the next morning. When I left the room at the end of the 3rd floor, the exit door to the stairs was not shut leaving the building unsecured. I tried to pull the door shut with no success. My room was next to this door. This is dangerous. Anyone could enter the building without anyone knowing. I stopped by the lobby and dropped my keys off and said bye bye. I will forfeit my other two days for a safe and clean environment.

Nice stay

The room was small, but clean and comfortable. This was a quiet place right in the middle of town. The only suggestion I have would be to provide microwaves in the rooms.

Sheets and blanket were stained had hairs all over and crumbs I hope… remote had to be changed. Alarm clock wasn’t plugged in, and the doors didn’t close unless assisted. Water pressure was great.

We have stayed in this hotel several times due to its convenient distance from the main drag. It needs thorough cleaning and replacement of some bathroom fixtures.An upgrade of breakfast is required. Price is reasonable, but after fixing people won’t mind paying a little more.

Hotel was clean and convenient to the strip in Gatlinburg. The rooms had a mirror that stretched from one side of the beds to the other side. We found this odd. Otherwise for the price and convenience it was worth it.

The room was good. If you just need a place to sleep for the night, then it’s perfect. The room was a little small and the bathroom door was a little hard to open, but otherwise it was a nice place. It’s located in a good spot, as everything was within walking distance.

Pros and Cons

The hotel is located just across the road from the convention center, and that was so nice. However, for the price we paid (~$300 per night), I was disappointed. I’ve stayed in other Microtels that were much nicer and I guess I was expecting the same level of quality. Here, the tile was cracked in the bathrooms. The dining area for the continental breakfast was tiny, and the lobby was cramped. However, the beds were comfortable. The desk clerk was friendly and there was free parking. I wouldn’t stay there again for that price.

The room was clean and comfortable. Location is great. This hotel is long and narrow. Everything is smallish - the lobby, the breakfast room, the rooms. My complaint is the hall carpets looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. Wouldn't hurt to get a couple high school kids in there to vacuum a couple times a week.

I liked that it was across the street from the event I was attending. Bed was very comfortable. People on the desk were not overly friendly. Room was not as clean as it could have been. There was thick threads on the floor that were never vacuumed! They were there when I arrived and there when I left. Lighted mirror in room had no electricity.
