Beautiful setting in downtown Gatlinburg with creek. Host was from Jamaica and was very interesting and fun to visit with. He said it was very slow due to bad storms. When we got to our room we noticed a bad smell, tub was worn with black marks and the water spigot blew off as shower was being turned on. Host offered us a different room. It was a VERY cold night. When we entered our new room it was extremely cold. We turned on the furnace and fireplace but neither were putting out much heat. We drove around town in our rental car about an hour while the room warmed up. Upon returning it was still super cold in room. It was late and we had driven along way that day and just wanted a warm shower and to go to bed. Nevertheless we didn’t shower due to it being so cold in there. We put layers of clothes on and wrapped up in blankets and slept. Don’t mean to complain, just being truthful. We made the best of an unfortunate event. We loved Gatlinburg even saw a bear. We plan to return for another visit. Maybe in warmer weather ☀️

Time to relax

Room was located at the end of building&was very close to dog park.That was great because it was very cold&it snowed thhe night before we left Beautiful!Plus they have a laundry room&both washer&dryer worked great

Terrible read the reviews don't stay here the manager changed my room which I appreciated because I paid a premium and they tried to put me in a god awful dirty room where nothing worked and had none of the amenities I paid for.

Great place when traveling with pets

Great location and one of the best places to stay if you are traveling with pets. Grassy area for pets. 2 restaurants beside the hotel as well as a few shops. Would definitely stay here again.

The photos do not match reality. The room was in terrible condition, with a hole in the wall, the toilet did not flush properly, very bad Wi-Fi, we were disappointed with the place. The only thing we liked was the location. The rest left us sad.

Good stay.

The rooms were like a normal hotel room. It was nice and clean. The only thing is if your going for any reason that needs internet the WiFi wasn’t very good at all, but they were doing some remodeling so maybe that is in the plans to address. Our Verizon phones didn’t have much service either which isn’t their fault.

Virtually EVERY piece of furniture in the room had paint splattered or smeared on it. The carpet looked as if it hadn’t been vacuumed, but it was actually the abundance of splattered paint that covered the rest of the room, and it had a ripped out patch, approximately 3”x6”. Sink was stopped up & had standing water the 2 days we were there, in spite of it being reported. Bathroom was dirty. Stucco & sheet metal were falling off the exterior of building. The “resort fee” was waived because the elevator was broken. The sign at the motel should have the word POOR added before the name Choice.

It was a great stay. The carpet by the bathroom was wet most of the stay. Maybe there’s a leak somewhere? The showerhead was kind of hanging loose in the shower. But overall, it was a great stay and the heat in the room was great.

Shower leaked out into the carpet thru the wall and there fix while we were gone was to turn up the heat. Very filthy and construction debris in the parking lot including screws.

The hotel is perfectly situated for access to the town and its many places to eat. Plenty of parking if you have a vehicle. The staff were nice the rooms were clean but, and it’s a big but, the hot water never got above tepid it wasn’t hot enough to shave and on the last morning it wasn’t even hot enough to shower. I did ask if the temperature could be turned up but was told no. This is a real shame because it would have had five stars.

Mediocre

The room we had booked did not allow pets, and they couldn’t get us in a pet friendly room that had a balcony nor a fireplace, so I feel we overpaid for the room. The beds were very firm and not comfortable. Tv kept going in and out and did not have ESPN. The hotel is old and in need of serious updating. Staff was super friendly. Great location. Overall I’d rate a five out of 10.

Only one knob for heat unit 2nd knob missing Noise as well See outside around door Dim lit room Paint all over carpet and switch covers Cold air around outlets Elevator not working Dirty room.
