We stayed one night before an early flight. Check in and checkout was smooth and easy, travels passes for Geneva were great and everything was clean. The room was really small , we had room for our one suitcase but two suitcases would have been tricky. Shuttle to the airport suites our needs too.

I ordered a salad and when it arrived I realised there was multiple greenfly and other insects on the salad. Maybe one misses is fine, but this was about 6 big insects all through the salad. When I told this to the waiter he tried to tell me it was normal and didn't take it away. Luckily his senior, a female waitress came by and she offered me a new one. I was pretty stunned by the first mans behaviour and it kind of tainted my experience over all.

What I liked - very convenient to the airport. Easy to walk across the street and have a pizza for dinner at La Gioconda. Pleasant staff. I was able to return my rental car a day early and avoid the mad dash in the morning before my flight. What I didn't like - there was only 1 USB outlet in the room. It was on the back of the TV and it was slow to recharge. The room didn't have "European French" or "North American" charging ports; only Swiss charging ports. If I didn't find the USB port on the TV I would have been screwed.

The stay in this hotel was simply not good, we were on a ground floor room with a window that would not even stay shut, much less lock making it feel unsafe. The fridge did not work whatsoever so we couldn’t have any cold drinks, the room was far too hot with no real control of the thermostat apart from turning the “fan” up or down with no breeze at all. And to top it all off the vending machine gave me the wrong drink when I used it. The only decent thing about this place is I liked their pillows.

They need to improve internet connectivity in the rooms it’s extremely poor and plugs are not friendly for international travellers. Internet is the fuel of today. I would opt not to go back is those things are not addressed
