Truly serene. It was a meditative trip to Gili for us. We were to meditate quite abit on this trip and we couldnt have chosen a better place to do so. It was lush with greenery, setting the perfect tone to be meditative. You had lotsa birds and butterflies visting the villa and the whole time we felt so connected to nature. So perfect! The staff were especially helpful. Room service food was great and so was breakfast. Truly cant complain.

Wonderful find!

Amazing stay, we never wanted to leave! Wonderful service, couldn't be more helpful. Lovely breakfast served in room, lots of living space (mostly outside), overall it was brilliant! The only small things that could be improved - no cushions on the sunloungers and the decorative cushions on the sofa were old and tatty. However, for the price, this was above and beyond. Would return in a heartbeat.

They had such strong aircon it was amazing!! So good. Really cute kitchen. The room could do with a bit of sprucing up as was quite basic and could have used lights in the wardrobe area. Bathroom was cool- but no ledge to put the shampoo etc so had to put on outdoor ground. Had an extensive food menu onsite, on site massages and a super short walk to the beach. Would recommend!!

Love how spacious and beautiful the villa is. The outdoor bathroom is amazing . In a great location away from the main strip but close enough to bike everywhere with the free bike supplied

Khumba Villas are nicely tucked away from the party action, but not too far away to be an issue to walk there. The private pool villas were fantastic and we were well catered to throughout our stay here. I’d highly recommend the breakfast here too, really good! LGBT friendly.

Nice, Quiet villa away from the hectiness

This villa was perfect, it’s on the quieter side of the island - perfect if you want to escape the hecticness. They hire bicycles if you do want to take a short ride and check out central Gili T. The plunge pool and outdoor living is amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

A very good 3 star & quiet few days in private

Firstly this property is very good for a 3-star, yes there are a few things that could be cleaned better, repainted or tidied up a little but you note similar in 5-star properties. The location was remote but very quiet and private, great for a relaxing few days. We did have one bad night with mosquitos in the room despite spray and anti-mosquito plug-ins but we can't blame the property for that.

Overall stay

We have 2 nights stay at this Villas. From check in to check out, nothing much to comment just 1 word..Excellent! We really enjoy the moment over there and the Villas also provided the Good taste breakfast! Yummy. The front staff Ms Windy and the rest of the team provided Great services once we touch down the Villas. Keep it up!

Disappointing stay

Hotel was ok. Pictures similar to what you get in real life, it was nice having the private pool and villa to yourself. Staff however were very unfriendly. Took passport for an hour had to ask for it back. They forgot to bring us breakfast on our second day and when they brought it, it was burnt. To make up for forgetting and then burning breakfast the staff said they would pay for the carriage ride back to the port, but then when the carriage came they refused to pay which was disappointing, afterall they didn't need to offer. When we rented bikes they were old and in poor condition and again the staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. This hotel is also about a 10min walk to the beach however the closest beach point is a bit dirty and has a lot of people trying to sell you magic mushrooms, I would recommend walking 5-10 more min in either direction to have a better stay at the beach. Overall the stay would have been much nicer if the staff had been more friendly and helpful during our stay.

Beautiful villa but mostly outdoor living

The Villas were very nice and well maintained. The staff was helpful, attentive and always available. Breakfast arrived every morning exactly as ordered. It is important to note that due to the way the villas are designed, only the bedrooms are air conditioned. Everything else is open air. That means you are using the toilet, showering, and eating outside in the heat and humidity and dealing with the insects. It was a bit too much of an outdoor experience for our family. Without any air conditioned communal space, we found that unless we were in the pool, our 3 kids were in their room and we were in ours so we could escape the heat and flies/mosquitos. Again, very nice property and great staff but we prefer more protection from the heat/humidity.

Loved everything about this villa.

Staff was attentive and extremely helpful throughout our stay, especially to Man, who was accommodative to our requests. We had last minute changes and requested to go snorkling in the morning before we checked out and the team at Khumba Villa managed to planned it for us. We truly appreciate it! The private pool and the entire villa were clean, rooms and beds were big & comfortable. It was nice to just chill after a swim. Having our breakfast sent to our villa in the mornings was awesome. The beach is about a 10-15 minutes walk/cycle, with plenty of restaurants lined in front of it. With young kids, we also loved the fact that this villa is away from the hustle and bustle of the crowd. It is a truly lovely place to relax and unwind.

All In Package

Excellent experience of staying in an affordable villa. From the time we arrived, the staff was attentive to our needs and displayed excellent customer service from small things like ensuring breakfast came on time to ensuring our transport to airport was taken cared of. As for the room, room was spacious, toilet was great and pool is clean. The villa as is as its advertised on the pictures. An overall great experience. Will come back if I return to Gili T.
