A comedy of errors. I won’t be staying again. Nothing is accessible outside of the hotel. A 5 star hotel and yet no transport available. We paid a ridiculous amount for half board and later found out breakfast is free anyway and were given vouchers for dinner only in 1 restaurant with a limited menu. For 9 nights… Everything at this hotel is about making more money. Anything you’re used to at a normal 5-star hotel you will need to pay additionally here. The staff are trained to annoy you and ask for more. The prices for drinks and anything additional are astronomical. Nowhere near Uluwatu, very deceiving. Also, nowhere near the beach. They add something like 25% to every order. It honestly ended up being funny just how bad it is, for a 5 star. A 3-star hotel rating, it’d be great!

The reception area is very impressive in its design and architecture. First impressions have that Wow! Factor. The reception staff are equally impressive in their welcome and then friendly and helpful service. Facilities within including restaurants; gym and spa, and pool were all excellent. Review solely for the food—arriving at dinner time and the Indonesian restaurant looked appealing and airy. The menu wasn’t enticing. The lady server also the one at the restaurant entrance recommended randeng which is my fav but in retrospect, opted for something hot would not lead to food poisoning. Both dishes were bland. Service from the kitchen was nice but food wasn’t prepped hot. I also ordered Apple strudel at the room but it wasn’t the real dessert at all. Came for culinary experience but the result was definitely below par, minus even. I will not stay here again. The staff seemed attentive but when I have asked them questions both at the restaurant and the lobby, they didn’t have the capacity to converse in English. Seemed brushed off my concern when mentioned about the food poisoning. He just dismissed me and followed with a comment card. It wasn’t pleasant. I don’t think the hospitality level is up to par. I was disappointed w this Marriott hotel.

This is a good property in Bali. My suggestion is to provide softer mattresses and bath salts for the bath area. Also, the battery operated bug fans for the patio tables.

There were a few minor issues, but what impressed me most was how Wiwin, Aldi & addressed them with such grace and efficiency. Any concerns were handled immediately, with a genuine commitment to ensuring that everything was perfect. Buzuki was also very kind and helpful. It is apparent that the team at Renaissance Uluwatu takes pride in delivering exceptional service, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. Overall, my stay was incredible, and I would highly recommend the Renaissance Uluwatu to anyone looking for a luxurious, welcoming escape in Bali, at a great price! Thank you to the wonderful team for making my stay unforgettable—I can’t wait to return!

The hotel is amazing, staff are so attentive and always so friendly and helpful. The food was really tasty. Lots of options and everything fresh and presented well. We did a pottery workshop thank you to Aldi for helping us it was a great experience. Rosa and Chen helped make my husbands birthday celebrations extra special. Thank you 🙏 the breakfast crew were always chatty and engaging thanks to Winda and crew 🙏 the DJ by the pool played some nice tunes to relax ❤️ we loved every moment at this hotel. Will definitely recommend and return.

Fantastic service, excellent food - in particular the breakfast was exceptional! The pools and facilities were terrific as well. The staff were super friendly and very attentive no matter where we were in the resort. Overall, a highly enjoyable stay and we would be happy to come back and stay here again!
