This hotel is like the mafia

I tried to cancel my stay due to a change in my mom's medical appointment. Reservation was not refunded because i didn't pay the extra fee. So basically this hotel behaves like the mafia, if you pay the extortion fee, your reservation is protected.

The hotel has been nicely renovated, and their breakfast an amenities were great! The pool area is a bit worn, but our family had it all to ourselves and the kids were in heaven, so it was perfect for us!

It is dated, and had trouble with the TV, but otherwise it worked out ok for us. Staff were friendly, breakfast was good, and lots of restaurants nearby.
