Lovely Long Weekend Stay

Windermere House is a beautiful and peaceful retreat, perfectly situated close to the water, offering a relaxing atmosphere that’s hard to beat. The amenities are a definite highlight — the pool, hot tub, and sauna make it easy to unwind and enjoy your stay in comfort. The location is quiet and serene, making it ideal for a weekend getaway or a longer escape. I especially appreciated how easy it was to enjoy the natural surroundings while still having access to great facilities. That said, there’s room for improvement when it comes to cleanliness. The bathroom wasn’t as spotless as I would have expected from such an otherwise well-maintained and upscale property. A little more attention to detail in housekeeping would really elevate the overall experience. Overall, Windermere House has a lot to offer and I would definitely consider staying again — especially if the cleaning standards are brought up to match the quality of the rest of the property.

This was a last minute getaway for us and we are so glad we chose Windermere House. Beautiful building and property. Loved that all the amenities were available even though it was April. Hot tub and cold plunge pool was amazing and then relaxing in the sauna. Dinner around the fire with other guests in the evening was so nice. Only 1 night spent there and we will be back!

It's a beautiful property, I wish there were more amenities and active services. In winter 1-2days would be the maximum stay length , as the surrounding area, as beautiful as it id it's not walkable. Sauna and Jacuzzi were nice. Breakfast was really good. Bar food wasn't bad, but could defend have some music.
