This property is really long in the tooth. I’ve heard it’s closing in September. The food is terrible and the elevators and AC are terrible.

The property is in a Amazing Area. But the Hotel need a Full update in the rooms the popcorn ceiling was falling down all over the floor and on the bed, the furniture is falling apart the bathroom was horrible wall paper comings off the wall, the rugs are dirty. And had I to ask for towels every day. My room was never cleaned in the 5 days Stayed, I just kept the room clean and took out the garbage. But if they a update the hotel and train the staff in the front desk to be hospitable when you check in, It would it been a Great Experience. By the way the Elevator and Hallways are super hot it seem like the air conditioning are not working. When checking in the front staff was worried about a employee Birthday cupcakes🤔 did not give me no information from the property.

A Truly Disappointing Stay My recent stay at Holiday Inn & Suites was, unfortunately, far from satisfactory and left me with a strong sense of regret. Everything was falling apart in our room. The hotel seriously needs renovation. The room had a very bad smell.

Great location, needs better shower

The hotel pools were amazing and right on the beach with the boardwalk in the backyard. There was a kids area for children to play, and a movie theater as well showing movies throughout the day with free popcorn. The hot tub wasn’t working so that was a bit unfortunate. The biggest disappointment was the shower. Shower pressure was not good. And with being right on beach, you really should have a removable shower head to help clean the remnants of sand off for what the outside shower and pools couldn’t help with.

It was away from the hustle of midtown. The dining options on site were a great convenience. The trolley stop is directly across from the hotel whoch made it nice to hop on to go to the main boardwalk area. The waterslides were a big hit for my child and the extras with the movies and such were an unexpected little suprise.

The good: location on boardwalk; beautiful beach; 3 small pools and 1 nice size pool; air conditioner worked well. The bad: stayed 7 nights, housekeeping did not clean room once; asked multiple times for vacuuming and was never done; hallways boiling hot; elevator tiny, slow and dangerously quick closing doors; fire alarms went off every 15 mins; most desk staff couldn’t care less to help guests, one did not know how to process a credit card; rooms stunk of mold and mildew, wallpaper peeling off walls, water leaking from above; lobby reeked of spray to cover up mold and mildew stink. The ugly: manager was inept, bragging about his position but powerless and incapable of resolving any issues- he offered free breakfast, which we missed due to constant fire alarms going off; popcorn ceiling fireproofing rained toxic white chunks and powder all over room, in our beds, onto our belongings and into our lungs - told “manager” about issue and he just said sorry. I asked 4 times for him to vacuum and each time they said of course, but never came; security is non-existent here - anyone could walk into property, access pools and hotel floors, no one ever checked for wristbands, almost no security cameras; hot tub was closed all 8 days, yet it was left running 24/7, asked about 7 different staff about status and not one person had an answer. Nearly run over by one of their speeding valet drivers in parking garage. Pool light dangling off wall into water with exposed wires.

I had no phone in my room. No maid service at all for 4 days.. lost power in my room the day of my daughter’s wedding…. Took over an hour for them to figure it out… not one outlet worked, asked for extra blanket.. they had NONE …. Worst experience of our lives

Probably the coolest hotel we’ve stayed out! If you have kids book this one. You are at the end of the boardwalk but still had enough to walk to and enjoy. The pools are awesome! The staff was friendly. Seemed like there was always someone around cleaning or helping someone.
