A “Luxury” Hotel Only in Advertising – Serious Maintenance, Cleanliness, and Safety Failures
I stayed 12 nights in a Grand Suite at 93 Luxury Suites, a property marketed as a 5-star hotel. What I experienced was far from luxury and revealed long-term neglect, poor maintenance, inadequate cleaning, and clear safety concerns.
Below is a detailed and accurate description of the issues I personally experienced, all supported by real photos:
🔴 HYGIENE & CLEANLINESS FAILURES
• Dirty, stained, visibly worn furniture
• Heavy dust and grime accumulated on top of kitchen cabinets
• Dark, dirty, deteriorated bathroom grout
• Cracked and damaged tiles
• Amenities completely empty at check‑in
• General lack of deep cleaning and inspections
🔴 MAINTENANCE FAILURES
• Exposed and unsafe wiring behind the TV
• Parquet flooring separating with visible gaps
• Main door frame damaged and splintered
• Drawers jammed and barely functional
• Counter lights flickering constantly
• Bedroom blackout malfunctioning repeatedly
🔴 FUNCTIONAL FAILURES
• Both shower drains completely clogged on day one
• Two full days without DirecTV
• A two-hour water outage
• Gym dirty, worn, and incomplete
None of this reflects a 5-star standard — not even 3 stars.
Staff were polite, but the suite conditions show systemic lack of maintenance, quality control, and oversight.
Travelers deserve transparency.
