Small resort with very bad customer service. Staff doesn’t care and don’t speak English mostly. Food: breakfast lunch and dinner - the food is the same. Fruits are mostly not available other than oranges and watermelon that is not ripe. I had to bag for the banana. No dairy products at all - just cheese: no yogurt, no cottage cheese, etc. meet is hard to chew and smells. They have one place at the beach for lunch and all you can get there is pizza that is disgusting, French fry and burgers that also smell bad. They have 4 specialty Restorant’s: Dominican, Mexican, Grill and Mediterranean. All, but Grill - food is not good. Customer service: asking for a towel in the hotel and at the beach is like ask for a piece of gold. This hotel is short of linen. We had to wait every day 20 minutes to get a towel. Rooms: everything is broken: we had to call several times almost every day: balcony door wouldn’t close and maintenance don’t have any equipment to fix it: phone in the room to call reception desk - didn’t work. TV - didn’t work and batteries had to be replaced, safe was broken and 300$ were stolen. Beach: there are no umbrellas at the beach - just a palm trees. Lounge chairs - extremely uncomfortable and if you don’t get one by 7 am- you can’t find one. Water: the water at the beach is dirty and not clear. We stayed at other resorts before and the water was crystal clear there, here - there are corals rocks and the water at the beach is only up to your waist - not deep at all.

First, let me start by saying that the staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. This very poor review is not a reflection of them. The condition of this resort is absolutely terrible and shameful, the most run down resort we have ever been to. It starts at the front desk, with duct tape holding the counter together. Not a good firat impression. Next, we booked 2 deluxe king oceanfront rooms, but were told these were not available but they had a family "apartment" with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. We thought, great --an upgrade. Not at all. It was a fright- the toilet seat in one bathroom was laying on the floor unattached, there was nothing in the kitchen area, everything had been removed. There were zero decorations or anything to make the area cozy. The air conditioner in the living area was pouring water and you could see where the celing had been patched multiple times. Food was the worst we have encountered, and you only are allowed to reserve at one of the restaurants 2 times, and must eat at the horrible buffet the rest of the time. My father in law is in a wheelchair, and the very tiny elevator in the lobby broke, making it very difficult and inconvenient to use the other elevator further away. The walkway surfaces are not compatible for wheelchairs, very rough and uneven. Needless to say, we checked out after less than 24 hours and went to a different resort. The ownership needs to do a LOT of work to bring this resort up to standards.

The ala carte restaurants were good, they give us a room where you had to walk up stairs for the last floor, my wife has a really hard time with stairs and can barely walk up the stairs, we asked if we could get a different room with no stairs, 2 days in a row we asked, and they didn’t seem concerned at all, people were coming and going every day, something could have been done, we finally gave up and decided we won’t stay there again

The beach is beautiful. Very clear water and a lot of shells at the shoreline Our superior room looks like it was just remodeled. We arrived to a fruit tray and bottle of champagne. Everyone was very pleasant and we encountered no issues. It was a pleasure meeting people from other countries. Fly into Santa Domingo airport, much closer than punta cana airport. It cost about 150.00 for a taxi from punta cana unless you can make other arrangements ahead of time. Would definitely return in the future!

Stayed here for a week with my wife and overall it was a very nice experience. The staff is amazing and super friendly. The room was wonderful and the cleaning staff was fantastic. The beach and pools are really lovely as well with the ability to snorkel off the beach. While the snorkeling is not the best in the world it is totally acceptable. The food is just average and to be honest it's about what you can expect for the bargain price of this resort. That said skip the grill restaurant as it is just terrible. The worst thing for us was the people in the lobby selling excursions. I am a SCUBA diver and I booked a dive with a man who was in the lobby with a travel company. On the day of the dive a broken down van came to pick me up and all of a sudden no one knew where the dive site was or how many people would be going with us. This simply didn't feel safe so I declined and asked for a refund. Keep in mind I lived in St. Thomas for 2 years and am a certified dive master. The Caribbean is not new to me so I know when I don't feel safe it is simply nota good idea. I was promised a refund but then all of a sudden these people were nowhere to be found. I can't blame the property for this per say, but be extremely careful if you are planning to leave the property. For the price you can't beat what you get and I would recommend this place to others.

Resort is very basic. I would spend my money elsewhere, there are much nicer for the price. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Alcohol was watered down to such a extent it surprised me.

The beach was beautiful but if you didnt get there before 8am all the chairs were taken. Our bathroom felt like it was falling apart, towel rack falling down, shower head sliding down the pole. My wife and I got pneumonia while we were there.
