the property is beautiful but they do not have enough workers to keep it nice. not enough people in the dinning room, not enough people to clean the beach. There was a roach in our room that we had to kill before bed and the only chair provided in the room was broken and never got replaced. there was a space under the door and and a small salamander came to US inside our clothes!

I had high hopes for this resort, but unfortunately, my stay was disappointing on several levels. The food options were extremely limited, which made dining repetitive and unsatisfying. One of the most concerning issues was the behavior of some guests. There were far too many locals who lacked basic courtesy and hygiene. I witnessed a girl return to the buffet and pour sauce back into the serving dish after having already used it on her plate—I was horrified and nearly got sick. Beware this hotel is filled with locals. (I am part of this community myself ) but as a dominican lots people use this place as a day pass or they never have been to a resort and don’t know how to act. The rooms were also a letdown, with visible mold on the ceilings due to excessive humidity. The resort grounds were not well maintained either; guests often left plates and cups scattered around the beach and pool area, creating an unsanitary and unpleasant environment. To top it all off, the staff did not seem friendly or welcoming, which only added to the negative experience. I do not recommend this resort and will not be returning. I should have done my homework better.

The overall property and service was incredible. I felt welcomed the culture and heritage was shown in every aspect. The food took some getting use to (cultural differences). Recommend for a week trip with family. Also recommend doing local excursions.

hola solo soy en extreme sincero, no quiero ni daño a nadie pero parece que a nadie le importa como se tratan laa personas y mas de si tu compatriota, aveces uno se siente mas diacriminado en su propia tierra que en otro pais, lo dijo por que soy radicado en usa , no con los lugos que la gente que no ha visitado isa cree, y a mis amigos de USA, jamas , jamas, nunca vistar este hotel ea extremadamente peligroso y racista, me da pena por que nosotros no somos asi, pero en. este hotel parece que esta es su politica de atencion discriminacion, hasta en el el sport bar nos dicen como beber una bebida para no tener gonorrea en la boca, un mesero que baila con la bitalla e la cabeza, todos saben quien es. pero en resumen, solo 2 palabras que no deben de existir en el mundo, ni en ningun vocabulario ni n marte ni la luna, para yo tomarme eatw tiempo escribindo esta reseña o comentario se nota el nivel de fustracion de un super mal servicio, perdon a los que conocen este hotel no es mi intencion reflejar lo que quizas no es su experiencia, peto la mia fue suuuupe horible , gracia soy de por. poco cometar pero creo que este debe saberse, gracias

Disappointing expérience - not recommended

Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was marked by a series of issues that should not occur at a property of this level. The check-in process was extremely slow, and the front desk staff were unfriendly, cold, and struggled to communicate in English. There was a clear difference in the way local guests were treated compared to foreign tourists, which was both disappointing and disheartening. We were not provided with the blue card required to access beach services, and our requests regarding this were ignored. At the restaurant, hygiene was a concern — there were flies everywhere. While some waiters were polite, the overall attitude toward foreign guests was indifferent, and it often felt like service depended on tipping. At the bars, we were largely ignored unless we offered a tip. At the coffee shop, I ordered a cappuccino and received a regular coffee instead. When I pointed out that it was missing the milk foam, the milk was brought separately in a different glass — an unprofessional solution. We stayed in room 426, and one night someone tried to force open the connecting door to the adjacent room. It was a very frightening experience, especially since I was alone with my daughter. I attempted to call the reception desk at that moment, but no one answered. Additional concerns: • Missing towels in the bathroom; • The fridge in the room was not working; • The towels provided were in terrible condition — yellowed, stained

Cuando llegamos fuimos directo al restaurant y alli encontramos muy mala calidad de los alimentos, mal cocinados y falta de higiene. Restaurante con muchas mesas sucias y los liquidos servidos en vasos de carton. El staff no fue muy amable y no habian servilletas. Salimos de ahi y pedimos irnos y no subir ni a las habitaciones. Pedimos nos devolvieran una parte de lo pagado por tres noches que no ibamos a usar y nos lo negaron.

We first arrived my son’s room was dirty and mold and also my and wife’s room was dirty, and mold. They did get us better rooms after complaining about the two rooms. The food was okay but not the best. The property was clean, the pools were dirty and never cleaned. The swim up bar had children all around and the swim up bar below the pool had no bartenders. Always waiting for drinks. The beach was beautiful and clean.

Where to begin. The food is beyond terrible. Even the restaurants were not great but at least better than the terrible buffet. The place is extremely run down and Expedia should have NEVER let this be rated 4 stars. You cannot make reservations for dinner until day of and they are booked within a half hour so you have to be up and in line by 6:45 am. Trust me it’s the only way you’ll stand eating. I have pictures of broken couches etc. the massage was odd and never available when stated. I had to go back 4c just to try and book. The club is SO LOUD through the walls until 1-2 am. So loud. This place is truly terrible.
