Cheap Hotels in Gulf Aire

Staff was friendly and breakfast was great. Rooms could use some updating. Would be fine for an over night work stay, but not a family.

The Condo is well decorated and steps from the beach. Weather was cool, but we did manage walks on the beach daily. Also visited Port St Joe (Provisions Restaurant very good for the prices), Apalachicola (very picturesque), Cape San Blas and St George Island. There were some glitches - The pool / hot tup did not work. With cool weather, enjoying the hot tub would have been wonderful. The elevator didn't work. Had to carry up our luggage and groceries for the week up two flights of stairs. The condo floor was swept but not mopped. My wife's white slipper sox were visibly grey after an hour of being there. Coffee pot was dirty and the bedspread had a few stains. What we found the most disturbing was not being notified the pool and elevator were not working before we got there. I have to believe the owners were aware of these things. The pool had red plastic fencing wrapped around it. We talked with other guests that had arrived a week before us who said neither elevator nor pool worked when they arrived. Also, the pots and pans had lost their non-stickiness long ago. Time for a new set. The condo is very nice, but the attention to detail has room for improvement.

Bettie's Beach House is the place to stay in Mexico Beach. Good views of the beach from lower and upper decks, lots of space and very close to a fantastic restaurant (Killer Seafood). Other details that make Bettie's Beach House the place to stay, include:1. Fully stocked kitchen with lots of silverware and plates2. Very solid working appliances (dishwasher, fridge)3. Comfortable and plentiful seating in den4. Big screen smart TV5. Very comfy king bed in master bedroom6. Located very close to beach boardwalk7. Working grill on very nice outside patio8. Very friendly and accommodating hostIn all, we loved our long stay at Bettie's Beach House and look forward to returning.

We had one of our best family Christmas and stays at the beach! We arrived at the spotless house which is light, bright and inviting with a perfect layout of being able to hang out in the open concept kitchen, dining, living area, playing ping pong, corn hole or shuffle board or just reading a book on the beautifully screened in porch or spacious deck by the pool. No one was ever bored!We also had a parent in a mobility chair and the elevator and layout of the house made it easy for her to maneuver around. The bathroom was accessible for her as well though the built in shower bench was a bit high for her it was easily remedied with a portable shower bench. The highlight was of course the beautiful beach, easily accessible directly from the house with plenty of chairs and beach toys provided by the house. Our dog experienced the beach for the first time and loved it though the moving salty water confused him at first . We made s’mores over a bonfire on Christmas Eve which was a treat! The hosing off station for the dog, fish cleaning station and out door shower are priceless to have after a day at the beach and successful fishing. The 1/2 bath downstairs was also a huge plus when hanging out downstairs or at the beach.Just a perfect holiday with family in this beautiful home and its perfect location! We will consider coming back with friends and family in the future. Thank you for the memories
