Property shows wear n tear. Casino floor is boring, not lively in decor, lighting and etc.

The Golden Nugget in Lake Charles needs an upgrade. It is just looks rundown.

Restaurants are great

Great stay. Rained the whole time but didn’t have to leave the hotel for lunch. No issues

If i ever come back to Lake Charles this is going to be my to go hotel its clean and affordable

This is a beautiful home that was immaculatelyClean! We were 12 adults and filled all 6 bedrooms. There is so much room to relax and visit or play games - or split off into groups. Both porches have seating areas. Then there's the large table and big chairs at the boathouse. The game room for playing cards. Or building a puzzle. Or foosball. Or playing pool. So many options!Now let's talk about how this home is stocked! Kitchen: seasonings, paper towels, foil, plastic wrap, dishes, dishes, dishes! Plenty of utensils. Pots for every need we had. Kitchen trash bags, laundry detergent (for both washing machines on each floor) and dishwashing detergent. Propane burner with boiling pot to cook crabs and shrimp! Pellet grill to cook our steaks! All provided by our hosts! Oh and crab traps- they were used and did catch some right there at the back of the house but we still had to buy some. Large commercial ice machine. Plenty of parking. I've never stayed in a rental with so much to offer! Tonia was always only a phone call away and so extremely helpful. Highly recommend this place. Top notch! Thank you Tonia for making our annual sibling weekend so easy and relaxing.
