staff excellent and helpfull the one meal we had was fine and the breakfasts were good. But hotel and surroundings were tired needs a lot of money spent to upgrade it. compared with other hotels in this part of scotland the day rate was a good bit cheaper

A firm mattress on 1 bed near door in room 19. Tea at breakfast could have been warmer. Night porter on desk out of reception hours. Number to phone reception and book of hotel breakfast and evening meal times in room.
