As part of our 3 week trip thru the Canadian Maritimes, we spent 3 nights here. The hotel is in a good location across from the Public Park. Their hotel restaurant/bar was a good place for meals. The cleaning woman was kind and efficient. Self parking is close by and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay!

This was my 5th stay; it's that good.96 years old building that feels current.The helpful Staff ,restaurant with realistic prices with good food and location make this place feel like home. Across the street from Halifax Public Gardens, 5 min walk to Citadel Hill and a 10in walk to the Harbour. I will be going back again

We were in town for a Dalhousie event. Very convenient location, walking distance to everything and across the street from gorgeous public gardens. We were traveling with two small dogs, crated. The hotel has a lovely gift bag to welcome them on arrival. The room was beautifully appointed and the Nespresso coffee was delightful. The staff was friendly and the whole stay was exactly what we needed
