This is a great location when visiting Brantford, everything you could possibly want is close by giving you the option of walking instead of driving. Rooms are comfortable and the complimentary light breakfast is a welcome touch.

It was our first stay in Canada and we are use to the amenities provided in United States. Here in Canada, they had one waste basket, no elevator for two floors and they didn’t have enough outlets for the appliances they provided. I had to unplug the lamp to plug in the coffee pot they provided. The bedside lamp was not worthy it continued like a strobe light. I did not have an available outlet to recharge my phone unless I unplug one other appliance.

Rooms need standard queen size beds

I was disappointed that there was only 2 double beds. I thought it was standard to provide queen beds. I have never seen double size in hotel rooms before. There were 3 of us and so 2 of us did not sleep well due to the small bed.

Staff were friendly and helpful, but the building itself is not handicapped friendly - all manual doors art entrance and also into dining room for breakfast. My room did not have easily accessible plugs for charging electronic devices (phone or laptop) - there was one but it involved getting down and unplugging the standard lamp - I have arthritis so that was pretty much impossible! The other was accessed by moving the bedside table and unplugging the alarm clock.

There were shady characters hanging around outside of the property. When I asked for a seat, I was told there are no chairs in the lobby, and I was directed to go and sit on the bench beside the shady character at 11pm at night in the rain. The staff was not accommodating or understanding. I will never stay there again.

Air conditioner/heater required a good cleaning. Shower curtain in bathroom way too long and was ripped at 1 shower ring. Pillows very thin and uncomfortable. Staff friendly and easy check in. Breakfast room very small and busy. Not enough seats.

Overall this experience has been horrible. We travelled a few hours away to come to Brantford and stay the night and this hotel was absolutely disgusting. From the cleanliness of the rooms to the attitude of the staff to the two rooms that cost us over 800$ just to book 0/10 stars Will never return
