Inside the room: spacious. We got a queen bed enough room to walk around. No closet. Only two coat hooks in the wall. Not enough hangers. Could use another chair or a small loveseat to start. No handheld shower. No phone to front desk. Property: great view at the lobby level. We woke up to a sunny day on the first day. The view was breathtaking. Guest rooms are located on lobby level (4th floor) or one below (3rd floor - Pool level). No elevator. Service: arrival night, we got the room around 7pm and the air conditioning was turned on in advance. So it was nice and cool. To save energy, we turned it off when we headed out the next day. The room was not turned down so we came back to a stuffy room. While we don’t expect daily housekeeping and fresh towels, it would be nice to have some door knob signs to get that done. Adequate self-serve breakfast. Have ice machine.

There are two fundamental things wrong with this tproperty, and they stem from the ownership. Basically, they care nothing for their customers - you. First, on checking out there was a $15.95 + tax 'facilities' charge. I asked about this and was told that it was for the upkeep of the parking lot and other things. When booking with Expedia, this was not included in the posted charge for the room, which did include taxes. This is false advertising and is probably illegal. If they want more money, raise the rates. Second, the 'continental breakfast' was served from 7:00am to 10:00am. It consisted of white bread slices, a couple of basic bagels, tiny muffins and tiny donuts. A few packages of oatmeal were also offered. By 7:30 it had almost all gone. One slice of bread left. When asked, the front desk said that they had spent a lot of money renovating the rooms and would get to improving the breakfast eventually. Again, if you offer a breakfast, provide one. Otherwise forget it. These people are dishonest and should not be in the hotel business.
Note the sign: "Enjoy a delightful continental breakfast carefully prepared to start your day with comfort and ease." Also note the empty container.
The food was gone by 7:30.

The restaurant was excellent but the room’s bathroom was outdated, in need of repair and the bedroom was cheaply appointed and dark as there was no window except for the patio door which on the ground floor if open provided no privacy. The daily additional fee charged providing access to the property’s amenities was unjustified and will prevent me from coming back.

The room itself was an average room. A bit smaller than most hotels I've stayed it. Breakfast was a disappointment. No hot food options unless you wanted instant oatmeal. There was also no coffee available when I went.
