Easy check in / out. The room was nice , although the carpet in my room smelled like mildew. I was too tired to complain so I dealt with it. I sprayed some body mist as a room spray. It helped a little. The lobby is nice & comfortable, there’s 2 computers you can use if needed. It would be nice if they were in a closed off area or had a screen cover so people walking by can’t look at what you’re doing. There are vending machines in the lobby. The area has a few restaurants near by , mostly Mexican food but there was 1 Mediterranean & pizza place to eat at near by. The ice machine is located on the 2nd floor. Also a menu of food is available , I didn’t use it so I’m not sure how that goes. The breakfast menu is amazing along with the drink options. You can get hot or cold items. I will say bring your own water to the Madera location because they offer 2 in the room , 1 liter of Avian $8 each. I didn’t touch them. Usual hotel room items, fridge, microwave, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, array of towels, etc. The bed was comfortable, king size . I had a handicap accessible room , & everything was good, walk in shower with a bench to pull down if needed , bars along the wall in all the right places. Laundry room & gym available, I didn’t use them so I’m not sure how they are. Free WiFi is also available .All in all I liked the place. It was quiet & I felt safe. The AC / heating unit was nice. I’d give the place a 5 🌟 but the smell in the carpet wasn’t pleasant. So 4/5 🌟
