Good stop on an Oregon coast trip. Stayed last year and got a bigger more modern room, but this stay the room was still good just not the same level we had experienced one year prior. Easy parking, beautiful river front.

Great place to eat right across the road. It's takes a while to get your food, they are always busy. Hotel is situated right along the Rouge River with is nice view if you pick that side of the hotel. Your bonus noise is the foghorn down the river where it empties into the ocean. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. That horn never stops!

We had a good time even if it’s not the best motel

It was OK. The view was good. It was just the dirty carpeting, permanent stains, and at them having me sign something that said that they would have to clean the room if we left it dirty when they presented it to his dirty, the sheets were clean and the pillows were clean. The handyman was really nice to fix the wobbly table and bring in a new one. Not sure if it was worth the price we paid but that’s what you get at hotels.com. It’s hit and miss for us. We still had a good time because we were out of our room often. There is a hot tub and swimming pool hardly ever used.

Loved the location and views from room. Awesome to watch the fisherman and guests fishing come in and out from a days fishing. The rooms were decorated very nice and for the most part clean except for the shower which was not cleaned properly and had a lot of mold. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would love to return next year.

Casual/rugged stay in Gold Beach

This is a place perfect for fishermen and boaters. Connected balconies make sitting outside a second hand smoking experience at times. The place is older, and the floors and walls have an odd kind of “seasoned with prior stays” smell. Rooms are spacious. The river/ocean view is fun and entertaining. You are on the Rogue River with the bridge to the east and ocean to the west.
