Very homey feeling type of vibe. We didn’t stay very long in our hotel as we were out enjoying the beautiful weather and hiking.

This is an awesome 'motel' that has been rehabbed. Our room was perfect and balanced the old school feel (cool retro tile in the shower) in a totally redone room. It was spacious, bed was comfy, had a small fridge , microwave and Keurig. Breakfast was a 'continental plus' with eggs, sausage, B&G, Eggo type waffles and a pancake machine. Lots of other typical breakfast choices as well. We were very happy to discover this hidden gem in Salida!!

The staff was lovely.

It was a great price for what they offered. Although the hot tub could’ve had more chlorine since it was cloudy.

The location was great.

The hot spring pools were very clean, and had a lot of variety, including adults only pools. Dinner in the dining room was good, but not spectacular (next time we'll drive into Buena Vista for dinner). Well worth the stay and a good value because of the fantastic hot springs.
