The road house needs a good make over and a lot of money spent on it, couldn’t turn on cold water tap in the bathroom, the kettle was too big to go under the tap in the sink so filled kettle using a mug, lots of linen bags lying around the stairs area. One plus the bed was comfortable and was clean, would we stay again no

Our double room was spotless, clean and of suitable size for a short stay but would be cosy for a longer stay. Check-in was easy, I did that online via their email link so super easy, parking is via a shared hotel/public car park so spaces are not always available. Breakfast was great, plenty to choose from. Only negative would be the water pressure/temperature on the 3rd floor and it seemed to struggle to deliver a very simple shower.

Disappointed that the leasure center and pool were undergoing renovation and we had not been informed of this at the booking stage. We should have been informed by the hotel or Expedia. What compensation will there be for this disappoint.
