Check in was very simple and they upgraded our room at our request with us simply paying them the difference directly. Pros: This is an older property, charming, good quality clean linen, clean mattress (I always check seams and headboards for critters). Cons: Since it is older some of the walkways and steps are worn and could be difficult for someone unsteady on their feet. It was apparent a previous customer had smoked in the room but it was not overwhelming. The plumbing for the tub was slow and paint /caulking needed maintenance. Overall for the cost of the stay it was very acceptable.

Best case scenario for an inexpensive motel: clean, comfortable, very nice clerk at the check-in desk. This is a family-run place run by a family who cares, and who prioritizes the right things to serve guests well.

Cute town. Clean room. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and quiet. We were able to park right outside our room as we were on the main level. We walked about a mile to the main part of Helen to shop and eat and had a great stay.

Alittle of a walk to main part of town but worth it good price and nice room better then the other we stayed at, and had gas station right next door! Tucked away by some other stores and right next to a mini golf course with ice cream, can’t complain much. Staff wasn’t in office much which is understandable since we went during a slow season.

The motel was just average for the price. It is an older, remodeled motel with some things still old. We are use to sleeping on a firm mattress, but theirs were way to soft. The continental breakfast was below par.

Basic and inexpensive

A very basic, old motel. Desk clerk sleeps in the back of the check in room. Limited ‘Continental breakfast” In a seedy area in the southern end of town. Only positives are the low price and that there is a bar/restaurant next door.
