Great boutique hotel with good sized bedrooms (somewhat more basic bathrooms and shower) and excellent breakfasts. The restaurant is fantastic. Staff are very friendly and helpful too. Excellent value and great location.

The Knot is a boutique hotel that has an amazing reception area. The rooms are good but cramped. I do enjoy that it's very close to Peace Park and Hondori. We walked everywhere! What I didn't like was that our shower was clogged. When we took a shower, the water pooled by our feet. We did have an amazing view. We didn't avail the breakfast as it was pricey in our opinion.

The room was nice. One thing I didn't like is that the modern Japanese toilet models they have chosen have quite a small seat. The hotel location is right next to Peace Blvd and a medium walk to the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb museum. Bus transportation to Hiroshima station is easy from multiple stops near the hotel. The layout of the hotel is a little weird. You have to go to the top floor to check in at the bar. The bottom floor is the restaurant only. I've never been to a hotel with that setup. Breakfast was nice at the hotel, and there are plenty of additional buffet add-ons you can select in addition and included with your menu order.

LOVE this hotel! I only stayed two nights after having moved from an adjacent hotel… I wish I’d have found the Knot sooner! I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Hiroshima.

I wonder why we were charged for breakfast if it was supposed to be free? Inflexible policies. Early check-in not possible. Late checkout by 45 minutes not possible. Wouldn't even check to see if possible. Lobby on top floor inconvenient. Small room. Worn carpets, unclean, too.

Pros: good location, nice roof top and bar area, friendly and helpful staff Cons: daily maid service includes towel change only - they do not make the bed or even change used coffee cups. Two of the 4 bed pillows were an awful cheap bean bag type that were so uncomfortable that they were unusable. For the price we paid for this 3 star hotel (about US $300/night), I don’t feel we got what we paid for

Great place to stay super close to memorial park and internal flame along with east access to restaurants and bars. But you may not have to go far bc the rooftop bar offers excellent views and restaurant on the first floor was some of the best food we ate on the entire trip!!

Wonderful hotel just a few minutes walk from the Peace Memorial Museum. Close to bus and tram stops. Very clean room and a nice lobby/bar area where we were able to enjoy a free drink and nibbles. The staff were friendly and helpful.
