The house is in a great location with great views and overall it is a perfect holiday house. It does need a bit of TLC - new carpets, blinds etc but overall it was perfect for what we needed. Little things like having beach towels would have been nice.

Beautiful!

The house was perfectly presented and everything we needed was provided. It was a great location and a perfect place to base ourselves for the week. Would love to come back in summer and enjoy the deck over looking the water!

We have just returned home from staying 5 days at Casa Con Vista in Hobart. We are a close family and like to travel together - but that has its challenges as we range from our teenage child to my mother in law who is in her 80s.... so we need something to suit all of our three generations and this home was perfect! Our bedrooms were spaced out, we had had 3 bathrooms to use, there was a great large kitchen that made eating at home very easy (especially with multiple cooks!), an amazing variety of equipment to use (never ever have I had access to a chinois in any of the properties we have stayed at over the years...), plus multiples of everything in the kitchen (glasses, plates, cutlery etc) so we didn't have to constantly wash up after each meal meaning we only had to run the dishwasher once per day. The outdoor BBQ was a bonus and we spent time dining both indoors and outdoors during out stay. We loved the private spacious parking down the driveway easily accommodating all three of our hire cars and appreciated being able to step on to the coastal track to go for a walk or down to the beach to watch the rock pool creatures go about their day. Then there is the view! We happily spent many hours just sitting and talking, watching the clouds over Mt Wellington, the changes in the colour of the sky, the twinkling lights turning on across the western shore of the river through to Hobart's CBD and dock. We will definitely be back next year, if not earlier!

Absolute Bliss-Just What the heart needed

This visit to Tasmania was an emotional one. We came to celebrate my Husbands 50th but the first birthday without his Dad, so it was always going to be hard. We were also bringing some of his back to Tasmania, a place where he truly loved and felt at home. The minute we opened the doors to the property, we all felt a wave of calmness and at ease. This property also helped with our sadness and grief. Everyone loved the property. It’s always hard to choose something that is going to make everyone happy when you’re booking for multiple people, but everyone was happy. We cannot recommend the property highly enough. For us, it helped us all. Thank you again. Will definitely be back.

Girls Vacation

The house is beautiful and well equipped. The location of the house overlooking the water is lovely and we enjoyed our morning walks along the river, and afternoons sat on the deck. Would have been better if it had an outdoor heater as was quite chilly some days. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderfully private and restful location for a family celebration. Spotlessly clean, large spacious sunlit living spaces, super comfortable beds. Exceptionally well stocked kitchen with all modern appliances, and everything we needed to prepare a meal.

Perfect weekend getaway

We travelled down to Tas for a girls trip, and this house was seriously one of the best things about our trip. Stunning house with an even more beautiful view of the water and Mount Wellington. Would give 6 stars if I could. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating. Can’t wait to come back!
