I Had room 24, If you use this hotel book this room or floor above and there will be no noise issues from bar downstairs. So glad I booked this hotel.

Ideal home base to explore Hobart’s harbour area

Customs House is perfectly located to explore the harbour area of Hobart. We chose it for its proximity to the Salamanca market area and the harbour (including Mona museum ferry). It’s an older building in a busy part of town, and there’s quite a bit of street noise but the retro fitted double glazed windows are effective. Beds were comfy, bathrooms clean, and the included breakfast was basic but perfectly fine. Restaurant staff were great, and Nuri at reception was amazing; our initial room (1) suffered from some noise from the live music downstairs and she found us an alternative quickly at the quieter end of the hotel.

Good reception and help. Lots of steps required as elevator goes to level 2.5 - go elsewhere if lots of luggage. Great location and included breakfast was good at the harbor facing resturant but should be a room breakfast credit if early departure as the go meal is not worth it

Hotel Review: We recently stayed at this hotel for four nights and had a generally positive experience. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the area and access nearby attractions. One of the highlights of our stay was the excellent Christmas buffet breakfast – the variety, quality, and festive atmosphere truly stood out and added to the holiday spirit. However, we were disappointed that during our entire stay, the housekeeping staff never refilled the paper box tissues in our room. This small oversight was inconvenient and detracted slightly from an otherwise enjoyable visit. Overall, it’s a great option for its location and dining experience, but attention to detail in room amenities could be improved.
