Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Dimitri was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The restaurant host, waitress and the French toast chef were all very friendly and served with smile. However, the front desk staff and housekeeping were sub-par. The front desk staff were not welcoming at all and never smiled. One day as I waited for a taxi, I sat in the lobby and watched several new guests arrive in the lobby and those guests said “hello” to the front desk staff first before they were acknowledged by the staff and on two occasions the staff never even acknowledged new guests who walked in. The front desk staff seemed frustrated with their job. On several occasions they sucked their teeth in discuss.
Our room was never cleaned!! Each day we called for fresh towels and our linen was only changed once the entire stay and we had to ask a cleaning lady to do it. On the first night we ate in our room. Our dishes were placed outside of our room door and remained there for 3 whole days.
The property needs to be pressure washed, a fresh coat of paint and the dry rotted wood should be replaced.
Consider hiring a professional landscaper to beautiful the flowerbeds by removing dead flowers and weeds.
