Pre flight overnight stay

Ideal for a one night stay before going to gatwick airport....the gatwick hopper runs 24/7 and stops outside the hotel... Food was nice in restaurant

Great except the bed!

All great except the bed !!! Very uncomfortable. Hard and could feel springs through the matress. I can't understand why a hotel wouldn't have really comfortable beds. If you don't sleep well you are not going to stay there again if you have a choice!

Content, pleasant stay.

It served its purpose, we were content and left happy. We used it for a short stay before our flight, as our flight was early morning and we needed to be in the airport for 4am and having a hotel avoided having to drive down through the night.

Not bad for a hotel near the airport, but definitely showing its age. I will say though, that the staff is excellent. Enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, and a lovely breakfast. Smiles and friendliness from the staff all around.

I enjoyed my stay, the staff were supportive and helpful, friendly. But also it was nice to see some old faces. Has I've stopped in the hotel for many years.
