Kitchen was advertised but no cookware in room. Front desk told me the rooms are not supplied with cookware. All guests bring their own lol. Asked a different person on a different day, cookware was brought to the room. Had to ask for a cork opener. Pool was under construction. I was refused an early check out after experiencing bad service after 5 nights.

We’ve stayed at many Best Westerns before and have always had positive experiences, but our stay at Best Western Premier Ashton Suites - Willowbrook (April 11-12, 2025) was extremely disappointing. From check-in, we felt unwelcome. After verifying our party of six, we were stopped by the front desk staff and manager because a stranger we didn’t know entered the elevator with us. We were questioned suspiciously and made to feel uncomfortable for no reason. In the room, the beds were smaller than advertised, and the fridge was not full-sized as described. There was no bedding provided for the pullout couch, and when we requested it, we were told to pick it up ourselves. We were given only a bedsheet, a small blanket, and one pillow. When we asked for another pillow, the staff acted frustrated, and the manager rudely said, "If you're unhappy, you can leave. I don't care if you report me or write a review." To make matters worse, there were only two towels provided for six people. Even after asking for more, we only received two additional towels. This level of rudeness and poor customer service was shocking and unacceptable, especially from a brand like Best Western. We expected much better and hope management takes serious action to improve guest experiences.

Everything was amazing. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, the bed was awesome, we didn’t want to leave. The room was clean, and the decor was nice. The cleanliness was throughout the hotel. We also appreciate the well lit parking lot. Hotel is highly recommended. We will be back!

Absolutely absurd

I was highly upset that the pool is closed. One of the main reasons for choosing this hotel was the pool. They have the shortest at breakfast time available. They will knock on your door 5 minutes before checkout. They do not want guests in your room after 9:00 p.m. feels very much like a prison. I was told that I had to pay for an extra guess if they were going to be in my room after 9:00 p.m.

The couch had stains and it needed deep cleaning with a steam machine. You don't what caused those stains so it was kind of nasty. This property charges $100 for a security deposit which is something I didn't see when booking the room and after 48 hours the money hasn't been refunded yet.

Hated this hotel. Me and my friends stayed here for a birthday trip, and we never felt welcome at any point. Firstly, we felt very prejudiced because we were black. It hurt to see the white guests feel very welcomed while the black guests feel very unwelcome. I hated the customer service , the front desk denied me to use the downstairs bathroom, said I was an “intruder” because I had roommates and asked to use the downstairs bathroom since we were getting ready. The front desk also had us wait outside in the cold , because we were waiting on the deposit money to be cleared by the bank the day we were checking in. All in all, our stay was very unpleasant. And I do not recommend any black people to stay there.
