The hotel itself was okay. There were some roaches in the room, which we took care of. The manager was not so great. There were unexpected fees, which we had to pay regardless of whether we agreed or not. I don't know if I'll stay here again.

The hotel was beautiful and very well maintained; however the clerk was anything but accommodating. He was downright rude and argumentative. When asked for extra pillows, he said there were none. He managed to find one and told us that guests brought their own pillowcases when extras were needed. (Due to a medical condition, it is necessary to almost sit up to sleep & not always possible to travel with extras). The water was lukewarm at best - his response was the water is hot. The clock radio had a USB port but the radio did not work - his response was there is nothing wrong with the radio. We were not complaining but thought management would want to address the problems for the next guest.

Overall our stay was great. Room was clean. I didnt appreciate getting charged for extra occupants. I don't think i have ever been charged for extra occupants. Also, no extra toilet paper in room. I guess you would have to request it.

The staff was very unprofessional and was trying to charge me for a guest sitting in the pool area with me. My guest did not get in the pool, only sat at the table with me. When getting breakfast the lady in the dining area kept staring at my kids while they were fixing their food. Then she started following my kids around even though they were being supervised by me and their father. She would stand right behind them while fixing their food and after my daughter finished fixing her waffles and added chocolate syrup the lady took the syrup and put it in the kitchen. The cameras can be checked to verify this information.

Kitchen was advertised but no cookware in room. Front desk told me the rooms are not supplied with cookware. All guests bring their own lol. Asked a different person on a different day, cookware was brought to the room. Had to ask for a cork opener. Pool was under construction. I was refused an early check out after experiencing bad service after 5 nights.

We’ve stayed at many Best Westerns before and have always had positive experiences, but our stay at Best Western Premier Ashton Suites - Willowbrook (April 11-12, 2025) was extremely disappointing. From check-in, we felt unwelcome. After verifying our party of six, we were stopped by the front desk staff and manager because a stranger we didn’t know entered the elevator with us. We were questioned suspiciously and made to feel uncomfortable for no reason. In the room, the beds were smaller than advertised, and the fridge was not full-sized as described. There was no bedding provided for the pullout couch, and when we requested it, we were told to pick it up ourselves. We were given only a bedsheet, a small blanket, and one pillow. When we asked for another pillow, the staff acted frustrated, and the manager rudely said, "If you're unhappy, you can leave. I don't care if you report me or write a review." To make matters worse, there were only two towels provided for six people. Even after asking for more, we only received two additional towels. This level of rudeness and poor customer service was shocking and unacceptable, especially from a brand like Best Western. We expected much better and hope management takes serious action to improve guest experiences.
