Excellent property. Very nice, clean and presentable hotel. They must have something running through the air vents because the entire hotel smelled good. The hallway of the rooms seemed a bit outdated but the room was great. The staff at check in were so friendly and well mannered. The bed was clean and comfortable. I was not a huge fan of the shower head, wished that was better. But the entire experience was great. You can self park or valet. I’m definitely returning to stay here. Tons of restaurants around the hotel. You can walk to some.

For being a Doubletree in the middle of Houston's Galleria area, the facility looks more like an Econolodge. Torn carpet, no hot water in the shower/bathroom, crusty blankets, over used furniture... nothing you'd expect from what should be a class establishment. Staff was friendly & helpful. Staff was the only indice that felt like it lived up to the Doubletree reputation
