The extra blanket left in the room felt like straw. It would have been nice to have a softer blanket. Helpful to have all the need dishes and utensils in the dishwasher. Maybe add one pan that would be safe to use in the oven.

Nice hotel …..clean….. friendly staff and in a great area. The only thing I can complain about when it comes to the Doubletree is that they charge for everything… parking is not free. It’s $46 per night to park I couldn’t afford that had to circle the Block for hours to find free parking and walk .It says breakfast included, but breakfast is an extra $27 per room but everything else was good wonderful clean room spacious nice pool workout room. Everything was lovely besides parking and the fact we had to pay extra for a breakfast that was supposed to be free

The staff was great. Each member I encountered was very courteous and informative. They provide a warm cookie per guest upon check-in which I loved. I had a booking for another hotel after my stay here and I canceled it to extend my stay here lol!

The front desk team was very welcoming and accommodating. I brought my dog and they explained the policy. Valet was kind and efficient. The hotel room seemed worn out and need of upgrades. Being a hotel right next to the galleria, I could see furniture in the room was worn and the details needed focusing. The room was clean but I would have management look into touching up stains on head board, aged mirrors, knicks in furniture and spots on ceiling. Overall a very economically friendly wallet close by to some of the best restaurants and shopping houston has to offer.
