Tim is super helpful and went above and beyond as a host. The decor in the pool house will transport you to a different country. The pool is all one could ever ask for.

The place was filthy. There was someone else’s hair on and next to the shower drain. The coffee pot had burnt coffee crusted on the bottom. It was obvious that the rugs had not been vacuumed; the countertops were sticky, and the place was excessively dusty. I had paid for three nights. The place made me so sick that I left on Sunday. I was not pleased at all. It was a waste of my time and money

Perfect Girls Weekend Getaway

What a magical place to stay!! As you can see from the photos, it's like you're staying in a faraway place, but you're right in the heart of the action! It's close to the Museums, restaurants, bars, and shops! The property is gorgeous, with a delightful pool and beautiful landscaping! My girlfriends and I will definitely stay here again!! Hosts are wonderful, and if you are lucky, you might get to meet Dunkin, the host's Carin Terrier!

Such a unique and inviting space, we inly stayed two night but I wish we had stayed an entire week just to enjoy all the beautiful hand picked decor items the hosts brought back from oversees.Tim was an amazing host, and I will definitely be coming back to stay at the Cashbah again!

If you're booking it because of the pictures, you will not be disappointed. The neighborhood is also very nice and close proximity to midtown and uptown. I will stay here again next time I'm in town.

TWANNA'S MONTROSE BIRTHDAY

Cottage was bohemian chic. I mean, if you don't enjoy beautiful color fabric, amongst vintage art and collectibles from sultans themselves. Along with their own mythological spirit aka, magical genie in the lamp. Then you won't like Boho. The courtyard is just as fabulous, and the pool is crystal clean. Montrose was an easy to walk, to stores and restaurants.

Unique and Amazing

We've never stayed in a place like this and probably never will again. It is lavishly decorated with authentic rugs, furniture and the like from the Middle East - it really feels like you're in another country. Our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful - if we return to Houston, we'd certainly look at staying here again!

Complete honest review

Place was amazing! Such a fun and unique vibe and you can tell the owners spent a good amount of time and money with it. The pool was also great and we used everyday. Complete walking distance to many of the places we had on our list and definitely in a safe part of the the neighborhood. Communication was honestly the only flaw with the stay. It was very hard to get in touch with the host via email/ text/ call and nothing was set up prior to assist with entry the day of. Messaged and emailed several times when we were arriving for instructions and had to go get lunch and wait to finally hear back. Also one night we were locked out of the gate, nothing said anywhere that the gate would be locked and again could not get ahold of anyone with calling, texting and even ringing the door bell. (Granted yes it was around 1am) eventually had to have someone jump the 10 foot fence to let us in the other side. I would still highly recommend staying here, just allow enough time for long waited communication with the host. Evolve who sets this up was also not much help, just forwarding the host’s info.

Very unique property. Feels like you are walking into a bazaar in the Middle East(which is a compliment). Lots of couches to use for sleeping arrangements and the pool is great for cooling off. Property owners were very friendly and concerned with our comfort. What a great spot!

Family Getaway

Very unique property with lots of flair and antiques, from around the world. The pool area was amazing and relaxing however, a hot plate would’ve been nice… if you want to cook with more then a griddle but really there’s no need too!! There are several great restaurants within walking distance of the property. I would highly stay here again!! But I’d suggest that they have a pest control company come out for pests like little sugar ants, mosquitoes and other insects… I just made sure everything was closed and kept in the fridge.. but that is part of life and insects live in Houston too… We really enjoyed our stay and the pool area and looking at all the neat stuff in this home as we explored this Montrose Casbah !!! I would recommend it to adult’s looking for a good place to chill and enjoy the nightlife within walking distance around them!!
