I liked the resort but I do have complaints. It is extremely hard to get rides late night from the resort to the city making it hard to get food at night. Ubers wont even pick up any calls unless it's daytime. The right faucet on both sinks did not work, leaving us with only hot water. the showers were also broken so water would shoot over the glass, ultimately wetting up the bathroom. Room service only cleaned one time and in that one time all of the towels were taken and not replaced.

Its good but not great. The hotel is small and so is the pool. Great service tho. The restaurant is ok (only had breakfast there), but again, great staff. Having dinning options inside the complex is definitely a plus. Mixed feelings. Not sure if I would return since there are better options for the same price.

Except stay and within its own community.

The stay was amazing, a short walk to the beach, a pool with a swim up bar and all the staff was amazing. You can feed the iguanas and turtles that's on the property!

I like that Manangeli at the front desk was very nice and respectful upon my arrival. We made small talk as I told her I traveled there by myself. She ensured that I was safe and to call any time I needed something. My favorite part about being there was spending time at the bar. The bartenders were also welcoming. I’m not sure of the guy’s name but he’s the younger guy that worked Thursday 2/20 and Saturday 2/22. He made my drinks to perfection and I would like to recommend him to any future guests. Hopefully someone can put his name down. Overall, my trip was amazing, housekeeping were top tier as well. Thank you all for my stay!

The resort and grounds were absolutely beautiful, walkable and the beach was steps away. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Being both vegan and gluten free, I was so excited to see that each restaurant's online menu had 2-5 options available, so I didn't research other places. When we arrived, the menus were completely different and there were not as many options. Luckily the kind gentleman at Cafe 1736 told us about additional options at Plaza Nova, which was a short shuttle ride away.

We did not get the room we expected per our reservations. We waited until 5pm to check in and ended up with a room on the ground floor next to the main street. There was too much light in the room at night and was unable to sleep. They said the hotel is full and that's the only room they have. I guess making a reservation doesn't mean anything.

Happy as a clam

We got a last minute call where Wyndham tried to send us to a totally different hotel in Rio Grande nowhere near this one however we insisted on staying at this location and were still able to. That was annoying I won’t lie but the stay itself more than made up for our initial frustration. The staff, location, rooms, pools, property in general, all were beyond incredible! We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay, the staff were wonderful. The pool area needs more lounge chairs and umbrellas. While on vacation, there should not be any stress of securing a lounge chair.

Nice property for the price. We loved the swim up bar and kid pool area. Nice setting, nice location. No elevators for carrying heavy bags. Parking is a ways away. Not enough good food options at the hotel to choose from.

The stay was very mediocre. Our room the 1st night the patio door did not lock, the ac unit was leaking on the floor, TV did not work, and the following morning we left for travels and arrived to the room not cleaned. Day 2 the AC was still leaking and never resolved. Day 3 our room key did not work after a long day of travel with no rhyme or reason as to why it all the sudden stopped working. Its a great area to lay your head but its not what we expected.

So many things were wrong. Water leaking every day in our room, toilet makes a loud noise, sink knobs are broken, walls in the room were damaged etc & driving on the streets to get to the resort and back was so far out & dangerous cause the streets are narrow and very sharp corners. There is nothing around. Its over an hour to get anywhere from the resort....restaurants, stores etc
