Compare Hotels with Parking in Hurricane

This was a good place to stay!

Breakfast was good.

We had ants, the sheets on bed were dirty there was also a stain not cleaned in desk/table. Front desk was notified and said they would come by our room and never did. Parking lot full of pot hole, poorly lit hallways with noticeable dead bugs in ceiling fixtures.

Matthew at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate us.

We paid for a corner room with two queen beds and a sofa roll away bed. When we got to the hotel, the person at the front desk did not provide us with the room we paid for. She was rude and deflecting... An elevator did not work and the stairs could only be accessed from outside the property... There were lack of staff all around... in the front desk, in the breakfast area, in the hallways.... Children played in the swimming pool and went to their rooms without drying themselves... Therefore, the elevators were full of water, nobody showed up to clean... A meeting room in front of the elevators had a dinner reception and the tables were not cleaned for at least 20 hours... We expected more from this hotel and their staff. Not staying there again...

This Red Roof was fine, very convenient location, quite, helpful staff, allowed pets (including cat with litter box). We’ve stayed here twice, it was fine both times.
