My room was decent for the price and the breakfast was good. Only stayed one night but overall the accommodations were good.

Have pleanty of gas before heading here. Hiking trails and wildlife on properties. Beckie's restaurant was good and busy. Cabin was comfortable. No TV--No cell service--Limited Wifi Just right for us.

We stopped here for a night of sleep on our road trip from Oregon to redwoods national forest etc. For the price this hotel was honestly wonderful, beds are very comfortable, front door lady was awesome and friendly and very helpful, the room has a blackout curtains which is a huge plus, we got a very good night of sleep here. However I have to mention that we were kind of shocked by the crowd around the hotel (near downtown Roseburg) so many drug addicts, homeless etc. it was just so sad and horrible to see at the same time. This town seriously needs a change because it was just very sad to see. But hotel was great. If you need a place to just sleep because you’re tired of driving and ready to rest-that’s perfect

Nestled in an area of natural beauty, Steamboat Inn is very special. Our cabin was down the road a bit from the main reception/restaurant area, and was very comfortable, well equipped and quiet. The restaurant is set on the banks of the Umpqua River, providing beautiful views to accompany the lovely meals we had there. The wine list was extensive and especially highlighted local Oregon wines (and beer). Communication prior to our arrival was a little on the brusque side but any concerns were immediately dispelled upon arrival - all the staff we met were fun, helpful and very friendly. Don’t forget to check out the library, a lovely peaceful area to sit and lounge by the river. Highly recommend staying here … we have already recommended it to friends who are into fishing and those who wish to spend some time in nearby Crater Lake.

Idleyld Lodge, this is a cute mid century rustic lodge, older but comfortable. The owners clearly have done some renovations, but tried to keep it in the period. Beds were comfortable and the spaces were clean and tidy. Great for our one night stay. We were greeted by the owner/ operator who was very friendly and accommodating. We received a lovely welcome snack and bottled waters. She also provided good recommendations for local food in the area. AC and fans were a nice plus, all outlets we used were in working order, as well as the Wi-Fi.

I grew up in the area but had never had an opportunity to stay here before. Joanne was supper helpful and kind, obviously loves this lodge. Our room (#1) was spacious, and there were food offerings (in addition to our welcome gift of zucchini bread) across the street, and a few places nearby. Although close to the street, we found the rustic appeal of this lodge overwhelmed the noise of the traffic, that depending on where you stay in the lodge you might not hear at all. Will stay here again if given the opportunity. Joanne is the best!!
