Overall our stay was ok. It was close to the IU natatorium which is why we were there for the weekend. There was an off-putting smell when you walked in the front door. The hotel is dated, rooms were fine and everything seemed clean but the carpet and bathrooms were definitely dated and flooring was cracked in the bathroom.

Sierra very pleasant during check-in and check-out👍. Although clean-appearing, there was a definite sewery-mildew-like odor in the lobby, and lesser odor in the hallways. Not in our room however. The room was clean. Thank you for coffee pot in the room.

Older hotel close to Riley children’s hospital

Stay one night to take our child to Riley. The hotel is older but worked great for our needs. It was close to the hospital and there are several fast food restaurants near by. The breakfast was the usual hotel standards. The only downside was no bacon.

Safety needs updated

My biggest complaint is safety. When my key needed replaced they just asked me my room number and gave me a new key. They should have checked my ID to make sure I belonged in the room I was requesting a key for. This happened twice with different employees and neither of them were the person that checked me in. So I did not feel very safe.

The gentleman at the front desk asked if I was there for a specific event. I told him yes. He then informed me I can book for next year in more advance than some other places closer. I don't mind staying 7mins away. Quick cheap Ubers rides. If you need a quiet place to rest your head, this might be your hidden gem.
