Unfortunately I chose this hotel in part due to the advertised spa and did not notice the smallprint mentioning (despite publicizing how good the spar was) that the spa was closed for renovation. Otherwise I had a good stay.
It was perfect for a couple of nights to visit the nearby farm park. Staff were super helpful. It might not look like much from the outside but it was actually lovely inside.
Arrived just after 6pm car park was full but lots of people hadn’t parked within the lines
so it made hard parking.
Room was very comfortable.
On my way to breakfast noticed the stair case area was very cold and carpet looked messy.

Twas ok, lift out of order with no notice to say so which would’ve been handy. Shower not massively strong but wet and warm as neededs
Convenient location just outside Ipswich. Reasonably priced too

Improving hotel
A basic no frills stay while work is carried out to update the hotel. Score reflects need to modernise rooms and lack of staff presence. This does exactly what you need though for a good price.

Hotels are supposed to offer hospitality,
The check in was the start of the experience, self check in was far from a good start. Its bad enough self service in a supermarket, this is a hotel. The room was clean and recently refurbished to a good standard. I went down for dinner, and staff wise it seemed like the mary celeste. Eventually i was served, the drinks for a hotel were reasonably priced and tasted good.
The food menu is limited and far from what I expect from a hotel restaurant, but it did suffice.
Unfortunately my evening dragged out to around midnight due to the people in the next room being less than considerate. But the noise did eventually subdue. The breakfast in the morning was buffet style and to be fair it was good.
I stayed here a couple of years ago and returned because it had been good. I seriously doubt if I'll be returning anytime soon. It was a very mixed experience unfortunately the bad out weights the good

Pretty much perfection for an overnight stay. Easy check in with a wonderful executive room which provided more than enough space to do some admin work. The lady on reception opened up the gym area for me to work out and the staff could not be nicer. To get cleaned up, there was an amazing power shower. The large comfy bed afforded a great night's sleep and this was compounded by a fantastic breakfast, made to order, which arrived in double quick time but everything was cooked perfectly and got the day off to the best start. They also provide free EV charging for hotel guests.
we looked forward to our overnight stay at Best Western to meet up with an old friend, unfortunately it was a big let down. The room was reasonable but the bathroom had the bath panel hanging off and not sealed at all and a cobweb covered the air vent. I would like to think it was only our room but the same complaint was found in our friends room. Having stayed in Best Western hotels all over the world this has to be the worst we have seen. Full marks to the staff who tried there best with the limited number they had
