The 2-bedroom/2-bathroom unit was perfect for my family of 5. We stayed in the unit for two weeks and we had everything we needed for our stay. The unit was very comfortable, clean, and contained all the essential appliances, such as a refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, and even a panini press. There was a perfectly functioning washing machine, which I used multiple times, and a clothes drying rack on the balcony. The TV had all the basic local channels, as well as smart capabilities to log into your favorite video streaming apps.
The location was also perfect, although I completely missed the entrance to the lobby on the left side of the building upon arrival. There is a Simit Sarayı directly across the street and small grocery stores like Sok and A101 within a 4-8 minute walk to grab food staples for the refrigerator or basic cleaning supplies for the bathroom. The view of the adjacent buildings might not the best, but I enjoyed people watching from the balcony, and viewing the 1AM football practices. :) The location is just a 9-minute walk uphill to Istiklal Street, and once you’re there you can stroll to Taksim Square or walk to Galata Tower. Also, there is a deli restaurant and small market on the lobby floor of the building that open late.
The Security staff was amazing and always very helpful. They were very patient with me as I attempted to practice my Turkish. Overall, I highly recommend Benesta Guest Teori and plan to stay here again when I return.
