Great experience. Check in was speedy, room /facility was ~good ( obviously smaller space vs. USA lodgings), overall acceptable. Breakfast was perfect and great attendance by staff. Overall very pleased with property and it is a great central location for all the old town activities you are looking for. Would recommend to American / other travelers as it check the boxes of economy, cleanliness, professionalism and location.

Brilliant hotel, located close to some of the main attractions in Sultanahmet - and within easy reach (5mins walk) of two tram lines. The room and bathroom offered everything needed (including a fridge, free bottled water daily and air conditioning), the breakfast buffet had a good range of options, for an evening meal there was an on-site (paid) restaurant - and the staff were very welcoming and friendly.

The hotel was very communicative from the moment we booked. Our room was spacious and in nice condition (we chose a King Suite). The gent at reception recommended and organised Turkish bath and boat cruise for us (which we would normally do independently). The restaurant downstairs is very convenient and the 20% off was appreciated. Breakfast was varied each day and the gent serving tea and coffee was very friendly. Few minutes walk to the big mosques and tram stops, as well as the waterfront. Few watchouts : 1, the private indoor hot tub is a bath, 2, the restaurant will charge £8ish for olives and bread whether you touch the olives or not (bread was too yummy to leave!) And 3, the Turkish bath was very naked for women, not for men (previously i have worn swimmies). Istanbul is fabulous and has many different districts worth a tram ride. We had an amazing visit. Last thank you to Senatus - we had an illness incident in the night and they were very helpful! Good to have 24H reception!

The room is too small and smelly. One staff was too rude during our stay. They did not clean the room even after requesting couple of times. I would not recommend anyone for this hotel. This hotel should not be a four stars, may be equivalent to motel 6 here in US.
