Chose this to be close to Yellowstone entrance. And this the only good thing here.
Nothing else is close by. You may be better off driving a little extra vs being here in a $400-500 per night room.
Restaurant - overpriced, average food and poor service. Overpriced shop on site.
Room - not so clean, dust over surfaces and a few small insects, coffee machine not working (reported without luck), air conditioning (cooling) not working as they have decades old AC, no TV or Refrigerator, no way to get hot water despite being misled at reception that the (broken) coffee machine can be used for hot water too, Tiny bathroom without a lock!, room is far from parking.
Nice 5 min walk up to the Snake river was the highlight. The food at the restaurant was pricey but great.

Disliked: Staff & service
Well located property between Yellowstone and the Tetons national parks, cabin rooms are well laid out but bathroom small. We noted service in the restaurant and daily room cleaning to be poor, and check in was very slow
Friendly staff. Clean cabins. Comfortable beds and good shower. Quiet. Only downside is the mosquitos in June!

Well, for the price... I guess you get location. ONLY location. The rooms were dirty (literally had dead bugs on the windowsils and cobwebs hanging from the ceiling.)
There was also no TV and the heater barely worked - we were freezing all night, despite having to pull the blankets from the other bedroom
Lastly, the worst part was the mosquitos. We went in early June and I have literally never in my life seen so many mosquitos. We could literally swat them and had to run between cars and the room. It was horrifying and just honestly ruined our experience, especially becuase they charged $19 for bug spray (which I could buy for $10 at the store).
for the price of this place, we shouldve gotten free bug spray - especially becuase they all knew how bad it was.
I wouldnt come back, especially for $350/night. Just drive the extra to get to Jackston or another nearby town rather than staying here.
ps. We also tried the restaurant. Veyr dry and very overpriced. I asked to get a side of the alfredo (for the alfredo BBQ mac) and they said they didnt have it because everything is premade. ew. Not for $35. =( Sad experience.
The staff was really nice. Check in was great. Friendly people. Room was fine. I think its over priced for what you get but you are in the most beautiful national park in the country so it is what it is. Overall, I would stay there again, for sure. Good job overall.

Stayed at their property from Sunday to Saturday. We noticed a ton of dead mosquitoes near the windows inside our room. Requested room cleaning for Tuesday. Came back and saw that just the towels were replaced. Beds were unmade, bathroom was not cleaned, coffee pods were not replaced. Had to call up to get bath tissue and bath gel. Called up again for room cleaning on Thursday. They made the bed, replaced the towels. Again did not clean bathroom. Bad service.

Accommodations were good but not great. No AC but otherwise comfortable. Inconvenient to most Yellowstone NP destinations. Staff was very cordial.

Disliked: Room comfort
Tons of mosquitos.
The facility was okay. Our room was filled with mosquitos. Over 45 at least. We spent hours trying to kill them all. We asked the front desk for help, at least a fly swatter and or bug spray but they didn’t have one. A member of the staff let us borrow their own personal one. The window screens had a large gap where they were coming in. We told the staff and they just walked away from us. This is important because there is no air conditioning so you need to have the windows open for air. There was one small fan but it was really dirty.
If you are going to explore the Great Teton or Yellowstone Park this place sets you up for either Park. Clean and comfortable. Nice general store and gift shop. Restaurant is incredible. Gas station for your vehicle is all available.
The employee who checked us in was very nice, but couldn’t find our reservation. Fortunately, I had a picture with the confirmation number. We ended up in a handicap accessible cabin, which was fine, but totally unnecessary. It would have been nice to know that there was no tv or WiFi ahead of time. Mosquitos were the worse and flying insects were in the cabin. We had not encountered this during any other part of the trip. The dining room staff was very nice, but it was a very long wait after our order was taken. Food was ordinary and overall,,nothing to write home about. The total experience from the cabin to the restaurant was overpriced, and we wouldn’t stay there again.
We stayed in two separate cabins, each with two queen beds. One had microwave and fridge, one did not. Mentioning there is no TV which was fine for us! Showers were hot. We did not try the restaurant, but family did go to the 7 pm smores/ talk/ meet and greet and enjoyed that benefit. The area across from the lodge must have been in a recent fire, but it stopped there and the campground and other parts of the hotel and cabins were wooded. Unfortunately, and uncontrollable were the mosquitos that swarmed us in the evening, so be sure to bring bug spray.
We really enjoyed our cabin and being able to walk down to snake river. The staff there was awesome along with the food at Sheffield restaurant at the lodge.
